Heart Flutters

Mary Jo from Southampton, MA, asked:

Hello Julie,

I have a post-it note on my cabinet to remind me to call in but I always forget to. Guess I need a bigger post-it note. Can you please tell me what is going on with my heart? I am an active 48-year-old woman who is healthy and not on any medications.

About a year and a half ago, I started feeling my heart racing from time to time. Since then it has increased to a weekly experience and often happens when I lay down at night. I have also experienced dizziness and a fluttering or skipped beat in my heart as well as a pounding and a vibrating feeling that reaches up to my neck. My doctor is running tests but I’d really appreciate it if you could connect in and tell me what is going on.

Thank you and take care.

Hi Mary Jo,

Hope you get that big post-it note to remind you to call in to the show. I’d love to talk with you.

To get some answers for you, I energetically connected with you in Southampton. Your heart looked like it was electrically misfiring. (Imagine looking at a heart with sparks flying out of its edges.)

You have what I believe is a form of cardiac arrhythmia, also known as an irregular heartbeat. And, the symptoms you describe, racing heart, dizziness, etc., are all common in arrhythmia patients.

In addition, I believe your fairly recent onset of symptoms is related to your being in peri-menopause. Our hormones help regulate all of our bodily functions and as we age, they decline. A large part of staying healthy is to restore these hormone levels to those of a younger person.

The Cleveland Clinic says, “During perimenopause (the time period before menopause), there is a marked decrease in ovarian estrogen production. This is associated with an increase in heart rate (sinus tachycardia) and an increased frequency in palpitations and non-threatening arrhythmias. Menopause causes a further decline in estrogen as the menstrual cycle stops. This time period is associated with irregular heartbeats, palpitations, and spasmodic chest pain in women 40-64 years old.”

So, in order to help you heal, I watched an energetic ablation occur that got your heart beating in a normal rhythm. Cardiac ablation is a fairly common procedure where radiofrequency energy is used to scar areas of the heart causing the irregular heartbeat and return the heart to beating normally.

In addition, energetic estrogen was administered to help restore optimal hormone levels which will in turn help your heart beat naturally.

Based on what I’m seeing, I believe you’ll be able to eradicate your arrhythmia symptoms when you get your hormones balanced.

In the meantime, here are a couple of suggestions:

– Learn about peri-menopause and menopause. A couple of terrific books are The Wisdom of Menopause by Christiane Northrup, MD and Ageless by Suzanne Somers.

– Work with a functional medicine physician who is knowledgeable about bioidentical hormones. They’ll treat your body as a whole system and help you focus on wellness. Go to the Institute For Functional Medicine, click on “find a practitioner” and insert your zip code. A list of doctors in your area will appear.

Thanks for your question.

Travel Plans

Jenny from Ukiah, CA, asked:

Hi Julie,

I just discovered your radio show. Thank you.

My dad has stage 4 lung cancer but is not yet in hospice. I want to be there with him when he passes on and to also be there for my mom. She is in denial right now about how sick he is and will likely have a hard time saying good bye when the time comes.

Can you please tell me what stage of dying my dad is in? His name is Robbie and he lives in Indianapolis.

I know it may not be possible for me to plan when I need to be in Indianapolis for hospice, however, I am trying to gauge when to be there for what may be a long period of time. I’m trying to plan around home and work so I can spend as much time as possible with my parents. Any insights you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for all you do!

Hi Jenny,

So sorry to hear of your dad’s diagnosis. In order to get some information for you, I first connected to you in California and then from you to your dad in Indiana.

At this moment in time, he is in Phase 7 of the Twelve Phases of Transition. That means his spirit is out of his body and is attached to the top of his head in a bubble configuration. It looks like the balloon seen in a cartoon caption that represents the thoughts or words of a character.

His parents’ spirits are at his feet and anchor a horseshoe of angels extending out both to the right and left. There are several other spirits of deceased relatives, friends, and pets present as well.

All of these angels and spirits are all part of what I call the “Welcome To Heaven” committee and are an integral part of helping us transition from physical to non-physical (spirit) form when we die.

Your dad told me he isn’t ready to go, is in pain, and would just like his family around him. He said he plans to be here through Christmas.

He also said he’d love to have you home for the holidays and for you to come whenever you can.

Everyone progresses through the Twelve Phases of Transition at their own pace. I’ve seen people navigate all 12 Phases in an instant while others can take days, weeks, or even months. And, I’ve even seen people in late Phases rally and completely recover from their illnesses and medical conditions.

Please consider getting a copy of my book Angelic Attendants: What Really Happens As We Transition From This Life Into The Next. It will educate you about what to expect and can help comfort you as you and your family go through this experience with your dad.

Also, please feel free to call in to my show on Thursdays at 5pm PT/8pm ET for an update or schedule a private session. I’ll be delighted to scan your dad and hopefully convey information that can help you with your travel arrangements.

Sending big hugs!

Mekong Delta

Sue from Wayzata, MN, asked:

Hello Julie,

Could you please tell me about my guides and if my deceased friend has any messages for me?

Will he come back to me in this life?

Thank you!

Hi Sue,

In order to answer your questions, I connected to you and through you with your spirit guides and deceased friend.

You have seven spirit guides, each initially appearing as a version of Father Time (picture the Dumbledore figure in the Harry Potter movies or Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings movies). When I focus on them individually, they morph into a figure representing a lifetime that correlates with something happening in your life.

Your main spirit guide showed himself in camouflage army fatigues and wore a helmet. He was Captain John Kelly (not to be confused with General John Kelly, current chief of staff to President Trump), an Army Ranger who led a troop of soldiers in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam in 1967 and he had a lot to say.

Captain Kelly is advising you to be prepared, be on alert, to transgress obstacles, and understand the mission at hand. He’s helping you do your due diligence and know the facts about situations you encounter. He wants you to imagine different scenarios of a task before you engage. He also said if you follow these steps, success will be yours.

Does this make any sense to you? Do you see a connection with Captain Kelly’s advice and what’s currently happening in your life?

To learn more about Captain Kelly and your other guides, please schedule a private session with me. That way we’ll have a whole hour to learn about and converse with any and all of your spiritual advisors.

Regarding your deceased friend, he has already come back to you, just in a non-physical form. He wants you to know he is always around you.

Hope this information is useful!

Husband’s Mystery Illness

Diane from Pinson, AL, asked:

Good morning Julie.

My husband had a health scare in March and is still suffering from what we call “spells”.

We have seen several doctors and had a ton of tests run but everyone seems dumbfounded.

This affliction is affecting his job and our day to day life. We are scared and nervous.

Is there any news you can give me about what it is or what path we need to take for him to be better?

Hi Diane,

In order to investigate your husband’s condition, I energetically connected to you and from you to him.

After getting his permission (telepathically) to scan him, I saw lots of inflammation throughout his entire body. Inflammation looks like red, dry, fog to me. By applying anti-inflammatory energy (looks like blue, dry, fog), I was able to see tiny internal lacerations throughout his body. I believe these lacerations are being caused by medication your husband is currently taking, perhaps an anti-seizure medication.

As part of your husband’s energetic healing, I watched the lacerations get sutured. Each required a stitch or two, then I saw a thick white cream (healing balm) be applied to soothe his tender internal tissues. This should give him some temporary relief.

Here are a couple of suggestions for you:

1) Do a Google search on all of the medications your husband is taking. Type in the name of the prescription and add NNT when researching online.

NNT stands for Number Needed to Treat and shows how many people need to take a medication in order for it to help one person. Our Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires this information from the pharmaceutical companies before a drug is approved to sell.

If the NNT is a high number, the odds of that medication truly helping your husband are slim. This data combined with possible and actual side effects caused by the drug will give you the facts needed to have an enlightened discussion with your doctor about problems arising from the meds prescribed.

2) Consider visiting a Functional Medicine physician. Function Medicine doctors are either MDs or DOs, have been classically educated, and have done additional training to look at the body as a whole system to determine the cause of illness. These doctors can reverse engineer your husband’s symptoms in order to identify the root of the problem and help him heal.

Go to the Institute for Functional Medicine and click on the “find a practitioner” button. Type in your zip code and a list of doctors in your area will be shown.

Hope this information helps and hope your husband is feeling much better very soon.

Inspiration

Sonetchka from San Juan, Puerto Rico, asked:

Hi Julie,

Lately I’ve been giving myself a gift by taking a healing class about energy, better vibration, provoking myself to feel good, meditation, and many other subjects related to spiritual and personal growth. It has been a blast and my current job enables me to have the time to do this and enjoy the lessons. So far so good.

Last week I gave a workshop to a very segregated group of people who live in a project in Guayama, Puerto Rico, about my experiences and the experiences of others who have succeeded in life in spite of their circumstances. I saw these people’s faces light up and felt a wall come down. It was grand.

There have been very few times in my life when I felt this marvelous energy and had a feeling of being at the right place at the right time. Should I follow my gut and keep training and studying to be able to share and help others? And, should I remain in my current job while I pursue this new adventure?

Thanks for your time and passion.

Hi Sonetchka,

First, I hope you and your family are safe after Hurricane Maria.

Second, in order to answer your question about whether or not to continue your studies so you can help others, I asked several questions on your behalf. They were:

– Is it in Sonetchka’s best interest to educate herself about energy principles? I got a YES.

– Is it in Sonetchka’s best interest to explore working with underprivileged people to help them better their lives? I also got a YES.

– Is it in Sonetchka’s best interest to remain at her present job until she earns enough money from her new venture to support herself? Once again I got a YES.

Having said all that, I suggest continuing to follow your heart. When evaluating the options, pay attention to what FEELS good, what EXCITES you, what MOTIVATES you, and what makes you HAPPY.

All of the above mentioned emotions represent inspiration. If something feels bad, that’s your spirit letting you know you’ve gone a bit off track. However, when something feels good, that’s your spirit prompting you to take action and look for the next step. If the next step also feels good, take it. If it doesn’t, reevaluate until you come to something that does.

This process of doing what feels joyful (inspiration), will lead you, step by step, to amazing life experiences and adventures.

Remarriage Hopes

Anne from Oslo, Norway, asked:

Hi Julie,

Ever since childhood, I’ve been fascinated with couples that divorce and then remarry each other. Back a few decades ago, I married a man I absolutely loved named Erik but we fought all the time. For the entire marriage, I KNEW we were going to divorce, marry other people, and eventually get back together again.

As expected, we have both moved on and married other people. Both of us are still married. Recently I learned he has been diagnosed with a rare cancer and is not doing well.

Since I’m not in contact with him or his family, I don’t know any details and fear my intuition after all these years was wrong. And on top of all that, now his wife has also been diagnosed with cancer.

What do you see for our future? It took me several years to move on after he left me and I will be equally devastated in the future if he dies, especially if after all these years, I was wrong about us getting back together.

Would it be weird or unwanted on his part, if I reached out to him now after almost 22 years, to tell him he and his family are in my thoughts and prayers?

Thank you for any insights. I’ve been torn for months on what to do.

Hi Anne,

In order to answer your questions, I energetically connected to you and then from you to Erik. He is indeed dying and is in Phase 8 of the Twelve Phases of Transition. That means Erik is surrounded by angels and the spirits of deceased family and friends. Graphics of the 12 Phases are on my website and are described in my book Angelic Attendants.

Erik telepathically told me he’d be delighted to hear from you and to see you, so I believe it would be in both your and his best interests to make that happen.

As an explanation for your fascination with couples who divorce and remarry, I “get” you two did just that in four past lives together. I also “get” you will have other opportunities (future lifetimes) to experience different perspectives of being together, separating, and then reuniting.

As humans, we often envision something happening a certain way, in a preordained time frame, and are disappointed when it doesn’t materialize according to what we had imagined. If we, however, look at a situation from multiple viewpoints, we usually realize although our paths are not what we expected, the outcome is.

Perhaps what you’re calling “getting back together” in this lifetime isn’t another marriage, rather, it’s a simple reunification that involves seeing each other before he passes. It could also include Erik, when he returns to non-physical (spirit) form, having the ability to be around you at any and all times. The possibilities are endless.

I hope you find some comfort in this information and hope you have the courage to go see him.

C-Section and Joint Pain

Victoria from Spartanburg, SC, asked:

Hi Julie.

I am a new mother, and my baby girl is 7 months old.

Shortly after recovering from a C-section, I began noticing random joint pain especially in my wrists. With time it has gotten better but some days it flares up again.

I haven’t heard of too many women experiencing this post pregnancy and wasn’t sure where it started, as I had some mild joint pain prior to the pregnancy but not like this.

It’s like some days my entire body gets filled with it, especially after sleepless nights. I thought I’d see what you recommend. I listen to your podcasts every week.

Thanks Julie!

Hi Victoria,

Congrats on your new baby. At 7 months, she’s probably already doing lots of new tricks every day!

When scanning you I could see the inflammation in your wrists. Looks like the pain also shoots up into your forearms. I also saw inflammation (pain) to a lesser degree in your knees, and ankles.

In addition, you look exhausted although that’s pretty common for baby mommies.

So, in order to get some pain relief for you, I applied anti-inflammation energy to all the spots mentioned above. That combined with a generous dose of energy to combat your exhaustion will hopefully make you feel better.

The source of your symptoms, I believe, stems from the regional anesthesia (spinal block or epidural) you received during surgery and the antibiotics you received post-op.

A lot of anesthesia, including both general and regional, contain heavy metals that remain in the body after surgery. And antibiotics can wreak havoc on your immune system by killing off good gut bacteria.

Here are my suggestions:

1) Remember food is medicine. Go to bulletproof.com/diet and download the free food chart. Eat what’s on it.

2) Consider reading The Bulletproof Diet by Dave Asprey;  Eat Fat-Get Thin by Mark Hyman, MD; and Fat for Fuel by Joseph Mercola, MD.

3) Be sure to add cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, along with citrus fruits, wild blueberries, and cilantro to your diet. All these foods are great heavy metal detoxers.

Hope this information helps.

Thanks for listening to the show. Please call in sometime!

Third Eye

Allyson from Palm Desert, CA, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’ve heard many conversations around the necessity of a healthy Pineal Gland. Flouride and other chemicals are reportedly damaging it by calcification.  I’m also aware that this is considered our ‘third eye’ and if we are to be more in-tune with our body and soul we should have a healthy pineal gland.

Would you please check mine and let me know how it looks and what I might need to do to improve its health?

Thank you so much, Allyson

Hi Allyson,

Wikipedia says, “The pineal gland is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. The shape of the gland resembles a pine cone, hence its name. The pineal gland is located in the epithalamus, near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, and is tucked in a groove where the two halves of the thalamus join. The pineal gland produces melatonin, a serotonin derived hormone which modulates sleep patterns in both circadian and seasonal cycles”.

I don’t believe the pineal gland is our “third eye”, rather, I believe it sits behind the 6th chakra (an energy center in our foreheads). When this chakra is combined with the frontal lobe of our brain, together, they comprise our third eye. By the way, the third eye is a mystical and esoteric concept of a speculative invisible eye which provides perception beyond ordinary sight (otherwise known as intuition). Everyone is born with this ability. For example, have you ever thought of someone and then heard from or unexpectedly run into them? That’s your intuition at work.

When energetically connecting with you I could “see” your third eye (6th chakra) is wide open. This means you have the ability to access what we would consider to be intuitive information and you can enhance your abilities with lots of practice.

As for your pineal gland, it looks a bit sluggish, perhaps by the toxins (fluoride and other chemicals) mentioned in your question. To help it heal, consider increasing your intake of cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, along with more citrus fruits and wild blueberries. Of course, get organic foods if you can.

In addition, consider sleeping in a dark bedroom. Use blackout drapes, avoid nightlights and cover any LED lights in the room. Since the pineal gland regulates our sleep cycles, it gets overtaxed when our bedrooms have even dim lights on when it’s time to sleep.

Hope you find this information useful. Thanks for your question.

Flu Shot

Anne from Boise, ID, asked:

Hi Julie,

I wondered what you think about getting the flu shot?  I’ve gotten one every year for the last 5+ years and haven’t ever gotten the flu, but recently I’ve been reading about their efficacy and potential ties to diseases.

One blog I read said:  “According to the research of Hugh Fudenberg, MD, a leading immunogeneticist, an individual is ten times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease if they have received 5 flu shots in their lives, as opposed to others who have have 0-1 flu shots. This is attributed to levels of aluminum and mercury. Most of the flu vaccine for this current season (2012-13) will contain Thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative as well as aluminum. The flu vaccine has also been linked with other serious health conditions such as Guillain-Barré Syndrome, vascular disorders, and narcolepsy. In addition to mercury and aluminum, the shots often contain known toxic additives such as polysorbate-80 and formaldehyde. Does the short term (potential) benefit of the vaccine outweigh the long term risks? Not from where I stand.”

What are your thoughts?

Thank you as always, Anne in Idaho

Hi Anne,

Great question! Flu shots and vaccines in general are a highly debated and oftentimes emotionally-charged topic. So, with that in mind, I suggest everyone needs to educate themselves on the risks and rewards before getting a vaccination needle stabbed into them or their children.

Fact is, there isn’t one virus that causes the flu and there isn’t one flu vaccine that will protect against all strains of the flu. Each year, a different flu vaccine is developed and is based on assumptions about which strains will materialize during that flu season.

By most accounts, in any given year, the flu vaccine is around 50% effective. Recent data from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) shows the flu vaccine was 18% effective in the 2014-2015 season and 56% effective (9% effective for senior citizens) in 2012-2013. Those aren’t great odds.

Other concerns include the toxic chemicals and preservatives you mentioned above. One little known secret is, single dose vials of vaccines don’t contain Thimerosol, a mercury-based preservative that seems to cause so many of the reported side effects. Only the multi-dose vials contain this toxin. If you or anyone in your family is being vaccinated for anything, demand vaccines from single-dose vials!

To answer your question, when I ask if it’s in anyone’s best interest to get a flu shot? I get a “yes”. The CDC recommends healthcare workers and anyone with a chronic health condition get immunized.

When I ask if it’s in the majority of the population’s best interest to get a flu shot, I get “no”. That would be the rest of us.

Regardless of whether or not you decide to get a flu shot, here are some things we all can do to boost our immune systems and remain healthy:

1) Stay hydrated

2) Eat lots of colorful fruits and vegetables (onions and garlic are natural antimicrobials)

3) Take vitamins and include Ester C, Zinc, and D3

4) Get your sleep

5) Exercise

Hope this information helps.
