Julie Ryan

Boy or Girl Baby

Tara from Burlington, VT, asked:

Hi Julie,

I have a one year old son and my partner and I have decided to try for a second baby sometime in 2017. We have both had dreams indicating that this little being might be a girl.

I wrote in earlier this year and you confirmed that there is a baby’s energy around me and since then it seems that the messages have continued to come in clearly that this baby wants to be born!

I was wondering if you could confirm our suspicion about gender, or how it plays out in the baby spirit world?

Thank you Julie, I’m grateful for all the joy listening to your show has brought to me this year!

Hi Tara,

Great to hear from you. Thanks for your kind comments.

The baby’s energy (what looks like an orb sometimes seen in a photograph) is still above your shoulder and is attached to your energy field.

This means the baby has chosen you and your partner as its parents and is waiting for the right circumstances to be conceived and ultimately born.

At this moment in time, I “get” the baby will be a boy. Remember, future events have many variables that have yet to occur and therefore aren’t definite. Free will and other occurrences affect the trajectory of our lives and the lives of those close to us.

Regardless of whether you have another boy or a baby girl … this new life will be the perfect addition to your family.

Sounds like your holidays this year may be extra fun as you “try” for another child.

Big hugs to you and your little family.

Past Lives

Carla from Houston, TX, asked:

Hi Julie,

I have been a huge fan since I came across your podcast several months ago. I am constantly checking for new shows from you.

I would really like to know about my past life or lives. I sometimes know how things will turn out. How am I able to do that?

For example, I have always had a feeling as if I will not live a long life. Could that concern comes from my past lives? For example, my daughters were both caesarean babies. Maybe I died giving birth in a past life.

Thank you for sharing your tremendous gift with the world!

Hi Carla,

Thanks for your question and kind words!

Everyone, including you, is born with intuitive capabilities. Some of us choose to develop them, and some just notice and/or are amazed at the information that randomly enters their minds. It’s all divine/spiritual guidance.

When connecting with you and analyzing your past lives, 67 of them came into view.

Some interesting ones are:

– You were a Roman Soldier who died on the battlefield in the year 736 BC.

– You were a sailor on a Spanish cargo ship and died in 1678 on a voyage to France.

– You were a Sioux Indian woman who died in what is now Minnesota in 1639.

– You were a New England woman who died in 1737 while living in what is now New Hampshire.

Except for the Roman soldier lifetime, you died of natural causes in all of the others mentioned above.

By the way … you looked like a Pilgrim woman in 1737. Thought that was interesting considering Thanksgiving is next week!

Finally, I “get” you will live a long life this time.

To further explore your past lives in more detail, please schedule a private session. It’s sure to be a lot of fun.

Skin Blotches

Phyllis from Loughrea, Galway, Ireland, asked:

Hi Julie,

Whenever I exercise or my heart rate increases due to physical exertion, my skin becomes blotchy red. It’s as if the blood comes to the surface.

Also, when playing sports, I develop a red itchy rash all over my body which fades away once I cool down.

Have you any idea what the cause of this could be? I feel fine otherwise.

I would be grateful if you could help in any way. Thanks!

Hi Phyllis,

When I got you on my radar and scanned you, I “got” that you need to increase your Vitamin E intake. I also believe some of your symptoms are exaggerated because of your fair complexion.

The Dr. Axe website says, “Vitamin E helps to strengthen the capillary walls in your skin and to improve moisture and elasticity. Studies have shown that Vitamin E helps to reduce inflammation both within your body and on your skin.”

Some foods that when eaten can increase your Vitamin E levels are: sunflower seeds, almonds, hazelnuts, mango, avocado, butternut squash, broccoli, spinach, kiwi, and tomato.

Give it a try and see what happens when you increase your Vitamin E levels!

Miscarried Baby

Kiley from Pocatello, ID, asked:

Dear Julie,

I had a miscarriage 7 years ago that was very devastating for me.

One of the things that has been really hard was that I miscarried at 11 weeks and never found out the sex of my child.

Can you tell me what sex my child was and what has happened with them? Thanks.

Hi Kiley,

My condolences on the loss of your baby.

When I got you on my radar, I could see what looked like a newborn infant wrapped in a receiving blanket with bunnies on it next to you. Your baby was a girl.

She wanted me to let you know that everything unfolded perfectly. She told me she wanted to experience what it was like to be a miscarried fetus, and you wanted to experience what it was like to miscarry. You both got your wish.

Your daughter told me she had a genetic mutation/malfunction that caused the miscarriage. Although you may already know this, your baby wanted me to tell you what happened was perfectly normal.

Miscarriages are nature’s method of making sure the human species survives. She said miscarriages are way more common than we think. It’s just that most women aren’t aware they’ve miscarried.

Your baby’s spirit is always around you. So far, she has not reincarnated. She told me you two have been together in 73 previous lifetimes and will be together in many more.

You can talk with her anytime you wish. Just ask her a question in your head. Her answer will be the first thing that pops into your head. If the answer takes more than a couple of seconds, that’s your brain answering you.

Hope this brings you some peace.

Thanks for your question.

Throat Cancer Help

Judita from Santa Fe, NM, asked:

Dear Julie,

I learned about you from Nancy Mae. I just found out that my uncle has throat cancer. He is going to have chemotherapy and radiation treatments. I know how horrible that can be.

I wanted to know if there is anything that you could recommend to help him go through those treatments and gain his strength back faster.

I would greatly appreciate your help. All the best, Judita

Hi Judita,

How nice of you to be looking for ways to help your uncle.

I first connected to you and then from you to your uncle. I then asked his permission to scan him and he agreed. The interesting thing is, although he let me see his medical condition, he asked that I keep the information confidential.

When asking him how you could be of assistance as he deals with his condition, he said:

He wants you to just be available. He’s not sure what he’ll need and he’d appreciate it if you’d help drive him to treatments, run errands, bring in meals, and help with chores.

Your uncle told me, “I don’t want anyone hassling me.” “I need to deal with this situation my way”. He also told me he’s okay if he heals and okay if he dies.

And lastly, your uncle asked for your prayers.

Hope this information helps you help him.

Thanks for your question.

Dallas Boyfriend

Brooke from Dallas, TX, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’ve been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 4 years now. Lately I’ve been feeling like maybe it isn’t working out anymore.

Should I try and make this work with him or is there someone else better out there for me?

If I hear it from you it’ll be more of a push since I’m in a weak place right now.

Thank you!

Hi Brooke,

With regard to your relationship, sounds like you’re already receiving intuitive guidance.

There are a couple of main ways our spirits communicate with us about relationships or anything else for that matter.

In your case, when you begin to question whether or not you want to spend time with your boyfriend or want to explore someone new, that’s guidance.

Also, when you think of him or are around him and you feel what we consider to be negative emotions (uneasiness, emotional pain, anger, etc.), that too is guidance.

The easiest way to get answers is to ask “Is it in my best interest to” and finish the sentence. Be as specific as possible. Spirits are very literal.

An intuitive response will come immediately, as fast as you can snap your fingers. If you think about it for more than a second, it’s your brain answering you.

So, when I ask, is it in Brooke’s best interest to continue a romantic relationship with her current boyfriend? I get a NO.

Is it in Brooke’s best interest to terminate her relationship with her current boyfriend? I also get a NO.

When I ask is it in Brooke’s best interest to terminate a romantic relationship with her current boyfriend? I get a YES.

See the difference? Perhaps it’s better for you to have your current boyfriend as just a friend who’s a boy!

You already know what to do. Life is supposed to be fun, so go find some fun!

Thanks for your question.

Feeling Awful

Calista from Rapid City, SD, asked:

Hi Julie,

Can you please scan me? I’m feeling so awful today and can’t tell if it’s strep, allergies, or something else.

I have a big weekend this weekend and would love to know just how to feel better.

Thanks.

Hi Calista,

Thanks for your question. Sorry you’re feeling so punky.

When I got you on my radar, I could see lots of inflammation from your throat to the top of your head. Once I got the inflammation calmed down, I just saw irritated tissues.

I believe you’re suffering from autumnal seasonal allergies, what used to be known as hay fever and is now called allergic rhinitis. It’s caused when the immune system overreacts to allergens in the air.

Although your runny nose, sneezes, itchy eyes, congestion, sinus pressure and sore throat are similar to when you have a virus, I’m not seeing either a viral or bacterial infection.

So, in order to boost your immune system in time for your big weekend, I suggest the following:

1) Take 1000mg of Esther C and 50mg of zinc 3x/day until you feel better. You can get Esther C at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Health Food stores, and through Amazon. Zinc is easy to find in grocery stores, drug stores, Target, etc. This combo is a powerful immune system booster. You’ll be amazed at how well it works. (BTW, Esther C is buffered so it’s less acidic and irritating to the stomach.)

2) Get some liquid colloidal silver. Pour a small amount into a juice glass and add the same amount of water. Gargle with the liquid for as long as you can in order to coat your throat and then spit it out. Do your best to avoid swallowing the silver concoction and try not to drink anything for at least 30 minutes after you finish gargling. (It’s a good idea to gargle right before bed so the liquid will stay in your throat a while.)

Bacteria can’t live in a metallic environment and gargling with the colloidal silver will temporarily make your throat a metallic environment. This will help keep you from getting either a bacterial or viral throat infection. You can get liquid colloidal silver at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Health Food Stores and on Amazon.

3) If you’re still feeling badly by the weekend, and as a last resort, go get some allergy medicine at the grocery or drug store and take it only when absolutely necessary.

Hope you heal quickly and hope your weekend is terrific!

Foot Pain

Shellie from Dallas, TX, asked:

Hi Julie,

Would you look at the bottom of my right foot kind of where the arch and heel meet?

I have no idea what I’ve done. I was literally just walking Saturday when I stopped and talked to someone for a bit. I’ve hardly been able to walk since I finished my conversation and walked away. I’ve been in pain ever since.

Thanks.

Hi Shellie,

You Poor Baby.

When I scanned you I could see lots of inflammation in your foot and worked on getting it calmed down in order to see the cause of your pain.

To me it looks like plantar fasciitis. The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue on the bottom of the foot that connects the heel bone to the toes. Plantar fasciitis is caused by straining the ligament that supports the arch. Repeated strain can cause tiny tears in the ligament which in turn cause inflammation and pain.

I’ve had plantar fasciitis on a couple of occasions and know firsthand how painful it can be.

Here are some suggestions for things that worked for me …

1) See a chiropractor. They can adjust your foot to make sure it’s properly aligned and use an activator device to help release tightness in the tissue.

2) Freeze a water bottle (Dasani, Aquafina, etc.) and roll the arch of your foot on it for up to 10 minutes at a time. This will help calm inflammation and help alleviate pain.

3) Do the “downward dog” yoga stretch a couple of times a day. And/or stand on a step with just your toes. Let the heels of your feet drop off the step to stretch the arch area.

Your foot pain is most likely caused by some cute shoes you’ve been wearing.

Hope this helps!

Dog Hates Car Rides

Natalie Baker from MINNETONKA, MN, asked:

Hi Julie,

I have a 9 month-old Samoyed named Winnie and I’m wondering if you have any insight into why my dog HATES car rides? It’s very unusual for a dog to hate them this badly.

I have tried putting her in a kennel to make her feel safer but that was worse than just having her seat-belted in.

When it’s just us, she sits in the front seat but is still very anxious. She pants, barks (a lot), and won’t sit still.

On the way home she is usually much calmer and will sleep only if she is very tired.

I have figured out she really doesn’t like when there is a speed change, my blinker is on, or when we turn.

When I first got her I tried having her sit in my lap which didn’t help, the kennel hasn’t worked, and when she is in the seat belt it’s a little better but not much. It makes taking drives awful.

What do you think? Thanks!!

Hi Natalie,

In order to get some answers for you, I connected to you and from you to Winnie. I could see and communicate with her. She is gorgeous and has a cute personality.

You’re right, she absolutely hates car rides for a number of reasons.

First, and most importantly, she said “I have A LOT of hair” and “it’s so hot in the car”. She told me she feels nauseous from the heat, motion sickness, and the smell of the car air freshener you’re using. In addition, she said her hearing is way more sensitive than yours so when the turn signal is clicking, it’s almost painful for her. Google says, “The frequencies that dogs hear are much higher and lower than what humans can hear. Dogs hear a frequency range of 40 to 60,000 Hz while a human range is between 20 and 20,000 Hz. Because of this, dogs have a difficult time with very loud noises”.

As for when the car turns and accelerates, Winnie mentioned it contributes to her nausea. She told me she does her best to keep from vomiting all over the inside of your car.

Winnie also said, “It’s unnatural for dogs to ride in cars” and “I prefer going for a walk”.

Alas, I did ask her what you could do to make her more comfortable when it was essential for her to travel via car. Here were her suggestions:

– Let her sit in the front seat so she can look out the windshield. It’ll help with motion sickness.

– Turn the air conditioning on full blast at the lowest temperature possible and point all vents towards her. It’ll help keep her cool.

– Remove the air freshener scent. She said it’s awful and the smell makes her nauseous.

– Lastly, Winnie suggested that if you have to take her on a long trip, to get motion sickness medicine from the vet and give it to her. (My family had a white German shepherd when I was growing up who got car sick for all 15 years of her life. We had to give her Doggie Dramamine whenever we needed to take her anywhere by car.)

Winnie told me she loves you, loves her home, and loves going for walks with you. Oh and … she’d like a few more treats!

Hope this information helps.
