Inheriting Past Life Skills

Carla from Batavia, IL, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’ve recently felt a strong spiritual pull toward the Mary and Magdalene traditions. When you tune into me, what, if anything, do you perceive about my personal connection to this path?

Thank you!

Carla

Hi Carla,

When I connected with you, I “got” your connection with the Marys has to do with a past life. Back in 1937, you were a Catholic nun in Limoges, France, with the Sisters of the Saviour and the Blessed Virgin (Sœurs du Sauveur et de la Sainte Vierge).

Limoges, as you might know, is world-famous for its beautiful porcelain and enamelwork. Your connection to this craft ran deep in your bloodlines before you even took your vows. Your father, Maurice, was a master porcelain artisan in one of the famous Limoges factories. As a young girl, you grew up watching his skilled hands shape raw clay and fire it into pure elegance. He passed that exact creative inheritance, attention to detail, and love for the craft down to you.

In this lifetime, you weren’t just a nun devoted to prayer, you were a highly gifted artist within your community, carrying on your family’s legacy behind convent walls. Your days were spent in the workshop, pouring your heart and soul into crafting exquisite porcelain figurines, delicate plates, and devotional plaques.

Your entire spiritual life and your art were deeply anchored by a profound, dual devotion. You had an immense reverence for both the Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene. In a time when the world was growing tense on the eve of World War II, you channeled a beautiful, comforting light through your hands. You painted and sculpted their images with such love and precision, capturing the grace of the Madonna, and the fierce loyalty of Mary Magdalene.

Every piece you made was a physical manifestation of your prayers and a tribute to the artistic gifts passed down by your family, a creative spark you still carry in your soul today.

I hope this helps explain your fascinating connection to the Marys. Please check out my recent episode all about the Marys to dive even deeper into their incredible energy and message for you.

Hugs,

Julie
