Sheila from Rochester, NY, asked:
Hi Julie,
I just discovered your podcast and have been listening to several episodes. I’m really enjoying them.
I’m reaching out because I’m desperately seeking information and guidance regarding my 16-year-old son. He suffered a serious concussion in December and has since been experiencing symptoms of depression.
Is there a way to help him heal and recover without medication? As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to watch him struggle, and I’m looking for any insight or suggestions that might help.
Thank you for any guidance you can offer. My heart is broken for my son.
Warmly,
Sheila
Hi Sheila,
I’m so sorry your son and your family are going through this. Concussions can have lingering effects, and I can only imagine how devastating it is to watch someone you love struggle.
After telepathically obtaining his permission, I did an energetic scan and healing on your son. I addressed what appeared to be scar tissue from the concussion, regenerated damaged brain tissue, and restored affected neural pathways energetically.
To help him heal on the physical side, you may want to explore the concussion recovery protocols taught by Daniel Amen, MD, TBI Therapy, and Dave Asprey, all of whom have extensive information on supporting brain healing after head injuries.
In addition, consider the work of Chris Palmer, MD. He has seen remarkable improvements in mood disorders, including depression, using a ketogenic diet to support brain metabolism and function.
Most importantly, please know that your son’s brain is still young and resilient, and healing can continue well beyond the initial injury. I hope these resources give you some promising avenues to explore.
Hugs,
Julie
