Hi Julie,

I am 27 years old and I’m currently facing stage 4 terminal cancer.

Firstly, could you please send some healing energy my way?

Also, can you please help me meet my spirit guides to aid me in this journey? I think I have met one but would like to hear from you about my guides if possible.

Lastly could you send a message to my grandma and Uncle Steve and ask them to watch over me, my husband and beautiful baby girl through this time in our lives?

Hi Estelle,

Thanks for your note.

To help you in your journey, I energetically connected to you and saw you’re in Phase 7 of the Twelve Phases of Transition®. This means you have begun the transition to Heaven and are surrounded by angels and the spirits of deceased loved ones (including your grandma and Uncle Steve) and pets.

Everyone goes through all the Twelve Phases regardless of how they pass. It can happen instantly, take days, weeks, months or even years. And, you can completely withdraw from the Phases. I’ve seen people in Phase 11 decide to live and go on to experience a long life.

Having said all that, I’m unable to do a medical scan on you while you’re in the Phases since your spirit is out of your body. (Our spirit acts as the power source for the body.) I did, however, send healing energy to you.

Please remember, everything can be healed and a healing can take many forms. Sometimes, death is the healing.

As for your spirit guides, we normally have seven with us at any given time. You have 17 and they’re dispersed in the crowd of deceased loved ones around you!

Your main spirit guide’s name is David and you can chat with him anytime you wish. Just say something to him either aloud or in your head. His answer will immediately come in and will feel like a thought in your head. You’ll know it’s him when you get a response within a second.

Advice From Spirit

I wanted to seek advice from my friend who recently transitioned from Covid-19 in February 2021. She’s the only one that knows me like the back of my hand.

She knows my relationship with the father of my children and I need to know her advice on moving on without him as a spouse and just as a father to my children.  

Any advice she gives will be amazing.

I miss her so much and I just know she can hear me.

Hi Stefanie,

My condolences on the loss of your friend.

To get some information for you, I first connected with you and from you to your late friend.

She said, “You’re a rock!” She also said, “You’ve been through so much this year and it’s only September. Stay strong!”

Your friend wanted you to know she’s always around you and is supporting you from Heaven.

Now, with regards to your relationship, she suggests you move on with your life and find happiness with someone who loves you and your kids.

In addition, I asked God, the universe, your spirit guides, angels, and deceased loved ones the same question. They unanimously concurred.

Remember, you can chat with your late friend’s spirit and any other spirit any time you wish.

Just say something to them either in your head or aloud and your next thought will be their answer. It’ll feel like a thought in your head.

How you’ll know it’s them is, it’ll be the first thought you have and it’ll arrive within a second (sometimes even before your thought is finished).

If you think about the answer for more than a second, that’ll be your brain talking to you.

Angels and Dementia

Hi Julie,

My mother is in the very late stages of dementia and is bed bound. I care for her at home. 

She sleeps most of the day, but when she’s awake, she often has conversations with people I can’t see. Sometimes she mentions them by name and smiles and laughs. I cannot understand the conversations as she’s no longer very coherent. My mother also gasped at seeing our old pet dog, “Henry!” This is all from a woman who can no longer give names in “normal” conversation.

It brings me great comfort, as I think she’s obviously straddling different realms. She’s been seeing these visitors for quite a few months. At times she seems to look in awe (possibly angels?). 

Do you know how the transitions work with dementia? 

I have a private reading booked with you but it’s not until January.

Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for your note about your mom seeing angels, deceased relatives, and pets. I too find it comforting that we’re all surrounded by these spiritual entities as we transition from this life to Heaven.

Having dementia is of no consequence to the Twelve Phases of Transition™ process.

It has been my experience we all go through the Twelve Phases of Transition™ as we’re dying. This is the case regardless of whether we die instantly like in a homicide or suicide, or like your mom, over a prolonged period of time. 

What may often be interpreted as a symptom of dementia or a hallucination, seeing deceased loved ones in dreams or visions at the end of life has now been validated with university-based research.

In his book Death Is But A Dream, Dr. Chris Kerr, a hospice director, reports his research showed close to 90% of the 1,400 patients studied reported just that.

In my Angelic Attendants: What Really Happens As We Transition From This Life Into The Next, I describe in detail how we’re surrounded by angels and deceased loved ones and pets as we’re dying.

My book addresses what your mom is experiencing from the spiritual perspective while Dr. Kerr’s book discusses the same findings from a medical/research point of view.

Signs From Spirit

Hello Julie,

I very recently lost my partner. He was the whole reason I moved back to the U.K. 

His death was sudden, and it has left a lot of doubt. I have seen signs like a white feather, waking up at 3:33, seeing the number 111 and feel like I have lost my life’s purpose.

Can you please ask him if “it was worth it”? We never planned for his passing and our time was cut short. He wanted to move in with me but didn’t because his daughter opposed it.

Is he okay, and did he send me the white feather? Does he know how much I miss him?

Hi Rhoda,

So sorry to hear of your partner’s passing. Doubts and feeling like you’ve lost your life’s purpose are to be expected after losing a loved one and are part of the grieving process.

In order to get some answers for you, I first connected with you and then from you to your late partner’s spirit.

Here’s what he had to say:

He thought your moving back to the U.K. to be with him was absolutely worth it because it gave you time together in person.

In addition, he is better than okay, he’s in Heaven and his spirit is around you all the time. He knows how much you miss him and suggests talking with him telepathically.

Just say something to him either aloud or in your head. His answer will come immediately and feel like it’s your thought. If you think about it for more than a second or two, that’ll be your brain answering you. The more you do it, the more validation you’ll get and the more comfortable you’ll be with the answers you receive.

As for the white feather, it was from your Guardian Angel and was intended to let you know you are loved and supported.

And finally, those sequential numbers have been showing up to let you know you’re in alignment with your spirit and to trust your intuition.

Hi Lynne,

My condolences on the passing of your father.

In order to get answers to your questions, I first energetically connected to you and then to your dad who was standing to your right.

He said he is absolutely at peace and is also having a lot of fun in his current non-physical state.

Your dad told me he finds being a spirit convenient because he can be around you anytime he wants including whenever you call on him.

Every spirit whether attached to a body or not has its own frequency, like a radio station. All we have to do to connect with our deceased loved ones is to think of them.

Our heads act like satellite dishes that transmit and receive energy frequencies and like choosing a radio station in our cars, when we think of a deceased person, we tune our receivers toward their frequency.

Say something to your dad. He’ll immediately answer you. It’ll feel like a thought in your head because spirits communicate telepathically.

Be sure to be as specific as possible when asking for advice. Although spirits always answer correctly, how usable the information you receive is will depend on how you ask the question. For example, you may ask if you’ll enjoy the concert, you get a “yes” answer and end up hating it. Your loved one’s answer applies to any concert you might attend in your whole life. If, however, you asked if you’d enjoy the concert on a certain day at a specific location to listen to whomever, that answer will be more applicable.

Regarding your question about making the right decisions in your life, your dad said you can’t make a mistake. Everything in your life is unfolding perfectly.

Brown Butterfly

Hi Julie,
I live in SC and I love listening to your show. I have a question about my deceased baby sister and deceased mother-in-law.

My sister passed away 11 years ago of cervical cancer at the age of 28 and left behind 2 very young children. Then, my mother-in-law passed away 6 months later of congestive heart failure at the age of 58.

Yesterday was my sister’s anniversary and as I was sitting in my rocking chair on my porch reliving the day she died, a brown butterfly showed up beside my feet. It flew to my front door and then towards my face, circled my head and then flew away. I immediately felt at peace and wanted to know if that was her letting me know that she was okay.

Are my sister and mother-in-law ever around our family and if so, are there any signs when they’re around?

Hi Cindy,

My condolences on the loss of both your sister and mother-in-law. It sounds like you’re keeping your memories alive just by thinking of them.

Regarding your question about whether they’re ever around you … HELLO … the brown butterfly was a big clue to say they sure are!

The website Butterfly Insight says, “Some believe that when a brown butterfly enters the house, it is the spirit or soul of a deceased loved one from the distant past. It can also mean that the actual soul of the individual is nearby”. The site went on to say, “In some cultures, a brown colored butterfly symbolizes a new life or a fresh start.”

Now, here’s my take on it.

First, our deceased loved ones send butterflies, birds, dragon flies, etc. to let us know they’re around us. They don’t become the insect or animal, rather, they communicate with the animal to be sure it’s seen by you.

Second, that brown butterfly that greeted you on your porch was from your mother-in-law. She wanted you to know her spirit was with you as you were recalling what must have been a particularly painful time when your sister passed.

And speaking of your sister, she told me you think of her when you see a colorful sunset. She said as kids, you used to enjoy watching beautiful sunsets. Perhaps at the beach? Anyway, she said when you see a gorgeous sunset, know she’s with you.

As for them spending time together, they said yes, especially when they’re both around you and the family.

Carpooling With Ghosts

Hello Julie,

I would like to first let you know I’m 100% serious, 100% sane, and 100% believe spirits can materialize.

I have been known to pick up ghost buddies from time to time. I can feel their energy and sometimes just know I’m not alone. Prayer usually takes care of this.

Well, yesterday I purchased a nice, little, used car, a Honda. As I was driving home alone to show off my new ride, I felt panicked because I felt a presence.

I took a video with my cell phone and clear images were captured as were audio sounds. I prayed all the way home and found my family outside waiting for me.

Once I arrived, my aunt asked if I had people in the car with me.  At that point we took another video, and a woman, 2 children, and 2 demonic-looking creatures showed up inside my car. The ghosts didn’t seem to notice me. I keep praying but I am still looking at them in the car from my window inside the house.

I checked the news and didn’t find any recent fatal accidents reported.

Do you have any idea why this haunting is happening inside my car?

Hi Sara,

Thanks for submitting such a great question. I 100% believe you and hope to clarify a few things for you.

In order to get some information about your experience, I energetically connected to you in Louisville, and through you to your car.

While doing a replay of the scene you described, I could see the spirits and the “demonic-looking creatures” you mentioned. Those “creatures” were actually the spirits of the family’s grandparents. These spirits were with you because they knew you could perceive them. They were helping you learn to trust your intuitive skills so you can use them to benefit yourself and others.

Most of the world’s religions and sacred texts refer to spirits. They come in the form of angels, deceased prophets like Moses, and other holy people. And, some of history’s greatest theologians acknowledge supernatural visions by humans. For example, St. Thomas Aquinas said, “Souls are able to appear wondrously to the living when they will.”

Having said all that, here are a few things to remember:

1) All spirits are pure love and light. The Bible says we’re made in the image and likeness of God (I believe in spirit form), and it’s said we all contain a spark of the Divine. How can that be anything but good?

2) Evil spirits and demons don’t exist. They’re fabrications of civilizations and religions intended to control the masses and have been perpetuated through the ages. Fear is a powerful motivator.

3) The “demonic-looking creatures” you described are just spirits looking distorted in our dense physical world. Spirits are a non-physical, high vibrational energy that can get slowed in our physical universe. This phenomenon can affect how our human senses perceive them. It’s much like a satellite TV image getting distorted during a storm. The transmission of the satellite signal can be affected by dense cloud cover or other types of weather.

4) If you see or sense a spirit and it makes you uncomfortable, just tell them to leave and they will.

Most people are oblivious to the spirits constantly around them. You just happen to be very intuitive and are able to perceive the spirits surrounding you. Perhaps if you learn to connect with spirits, you’ll be able to receive useful guidance for yourself and those you love.

Hi Ivy,

As 2018 comes to an end and we start to focus on a new year, it’s a great time to chat with our deceased loved ones and get some advice on how to improve our lives.

In your case and in order to get some information for you, I energetically connected to you in the U.K. and then with your Auntie Joann and your grandmother. Your Aunt was standing to your right and your grandmother was next to her. That’s pretty common. It has been my experience that our deceased loved ones are often around us and know when we want to communicate with them. In this situation, when I connect with the living person, the spirits are usually standing there ready to converse with us.

Your Aunt said there wasn’t any reason for you to be distraught (her exact word). She said everything was unfolding perfectly for you and that it was important for you to remember this point. She went on to suggest thinking of things that make you smile, especially when you get scared. She said if you can force yourself to smile, even when you’re down, it’ll make you feel better and think more clearly. I agree with her. This technique works like a charm.

As for your Granny, she said you are a perfect angel (again, her exact words). She said you are kind to everyone and are always helping people. She also said, you’re very hard on yourself and she wants you to apply the same kindness you show to others on yourself.

They both said they’re often around you. They said every time you think of one or both of them, they take that as a beckon and are immediately with you. They also said they’re around you even when you don’t realize it.

Seems to me their messages are congruent. Be happy, be kind to yourself, and know everything is perfect even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Cause of Sister’s Death

How and why did my sister Kathy suddenly cross over on December 1, 2017? 

Kathy donated her body to science, so no autopsy was wanted by the family or performed. 

She was alone using a public restroom when she died and for my own personal closure, I’d like to know what happened.

My condolences to you and your family on the passing of your sister Kathy. I understand the disbelief and grief you all must be feeling because I too lost my sister Joan who died very suddenly and unexpectedly in 2010. Needless to say, going through something like that is heartbreaking.

To get some information for you I first energetically connected to you and from you to your deceased sister Kathy. Her spirit was standing next to you at your right shoulder.

She told me she died of a massive stroke. She said it felt like an explosion went off in her head and she died almost instantly. Kathy told me she didn’t suffer and chose this way to go back to non-physical because it was quick and easy. I believe the cause of her stroke was a congenital issue with the vascular system in her brain.

Your sister wanted you to know she is always around you and your family and asked me to teach you how to communicate with her. Here’s how … ask her a question or make a statement either in your head or aloud. Kathy will answer you telepathically with what seems like a thought in your mind. If it comes within a second, that will be Kathy’s response. If you think about the answer for more than a couple seconds, that will be your brain answering you. Be concise when asking questions. Spirits are very literal.

Lastly, Kathy said to think of her when you eat taffy. I questioned her a couple times about that comment, even asking her if she meant toffee. She specifically said taffy. Please let me know if that means anything to you.
