The Ghost Perspective

Carmela from Mobile, AL, asked:

Hi Julie,

Do some people die and not realize they’re dead?

I’ve wondered about this since I was a small child.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom.

Carmela

Hi Carmela,

Yes, sometimes people die and don’t realize they’re dead.

In spiritual terms, what people often call a ghost is a consciousness/spirit that hasn’t fully disengaged from the human physical experience.

Although everyone goes to Heaven, once there, some spirits still want to continue life as they knew it including their home, routines, loved ones, and identity. The body is gone, but the attachment to the human experience remains, so their awareness stays focused on the physical plane rather than moving on. It isn’t fear or punishment, it’s focus.

Eventually, awareness expands, guidance arrives, and the spirit remembers there is far more to explore than the life it just lived.

Over the years, I’ve worked with several ghosts, gently helping them realize they’ve passed. I invite loving ancestors and family members, spirit guides, angels, and other familiar spirits to reassure them, help them remember who they truly are, and escort them back to Heaven. It works great!

Hugs,

Julie

  1. Hi, Recently I asked a physic…Why my deceased husband no longer connected with me. He died in 2022 & for 3 + yrs I’d been receiving signs such as feathers, birds butterflies and songs from him regularly. It mad me feel loved and not so alone. Then it all stopped.
Physic said it was because Kevin had a job to do on the other side. He said life is reborn on the other side and that I need to just let go.
He said Kevin was connecting to me because it was something I needed at the time and now he was doing his job on the other side.
When he said I need to let go that felt harsh!
I feel he was correct but should have said it more kindly . Maybe I should just accept the answer & not shoot the messenger but he did hurt my heart.
Can you explain to me if I will ever connect with Kevin again? or did he just move on & won’t be around me anymore?

  2. Dear Julie,

I really enjoyed listening to your interview on Coast. What a beautiful countenance you have!
    Quick question ~
My friend, Christian mystic, author and teacher, Elizabeth MacDonald Burrows, said that she would return to continue teaching as a man in her next incarnation. Can you tell if she has? Thanks and God bless.
