Hi Julie,
Firstly, I want to say how much I LOVE listening to your podcast—I listen every week.
I’ve been experiencing migraines for over twenty years.
Would you be able to scan me or offer any insight into what might be contributing to them? I would be so grateful for any guidance you can share on how to find relief or better understand this.
Thank you so much for all that you do!
Kristen
Hi Kristen,
Thanks so much for your kind comments and for listening to my show.
Migraines can be incredibly debilitating, and I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with them for so long. I truly understand how disruptive they can be. I experienced them myself from early childhood until around age 40.
In my case, the root causes were systemic yeast overgrowth and leaky gut. Then, at 45, when I entered perimenopause, the migraines returned briefly. Once I began bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT), they stopped and I haven’t had one in over 20 years.
When I tuned into your energy, I saw similar underlying factors contributing to your migraines: systemic yeast overgrowth, leaky gut, and a need for estrogen.
During the healing, the yeast was energetically cleared from your GI tract, your gut lining was repaired, and energetic estrogen was administered.
To help you heal moving forward, I suggest:
- Focus on eating whole, natural foods—foods that God made
- Avoid fermented, refined, and sugary foods
- Talk with your doctor about an antifungal medication such as Nystatin
- Consider working with a physician who specializes in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
You can also contact compounding pharmacies in your area and ask which providers prescribe through them or explore resources through the Institute for Functional Medicine to find qualified practitioners.
I truly believe healing is possible—I’m living proof.
Hugs,
Julie
