Diane from Southbury, CT, asked:
Hi Julie,
I’ve been dealing with a chronic dry cough for over 10 years and was recently diagnosed with silent reflux. Living alone now, even I find it frustrating! I deeply believe in my ability to heal but feel so discouraged. I’m on two prescriptions (morning and night), but they haven’t helped, and I dislike taking them.
At 83 years young, I’m otherwise very healthy and incredibly blessed with 6 children, 6 wonderful in-laws, 17 grandchildren, and the joy of expecting 2 great-granddaughters this year. My family is such a gift and this cough is driving all of us crazy!
Any guidance or suggestions are so appreciated.
Thank you!
Diane
Hi Diane,
I can’t even begin to imagine how exhausting it must be to deal with a persistent cough. That takes incredible resilience, and I truly admire your strength!
From what I’m seeing, your dry cough appears to be connected to reflux, which is often linked to a “leaky gut” issue. This seems to be the primary cause of your symptoms. I’ve done an energetic healing on you to help close the separations in your intestinal wall and support your GI tract in its recovery.
Please consider reaching out to Dr. Maria Amasanti. She’s incredible—so much so that I’ve nicknamed her the “Goddess of the Gut”! Her expertise can help you get your health back on track quickly.
In the meantime, research from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) highlights the benefits of Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL). This natural remedy enhances the secretion of protective mucus, which coats the upper and lower GI tract. By creating a barrier between stomach acid and the GI lining, DGL helps soothe irritation and allows the tissue to heal.
Clinical studies even suggest that DGL can be just as effective—if not more effective—than prescription acid blockers. A few weeks of DGL could make a big difference for you.
Hope you find this information helpful and hope you feel better very soon.
Hugs,
Julie

I’m dealing with this EXACT issue. Similarly to Diane, I believe in the body’s natural ability to heal, but it’s been an exhausting journey. I’ve felt let down by western medicine and am open to any remedy. I’m excited to try the DGL, in addition to acupuncture and parasite and mold cleanses, which I’ve been guided to try. Thank you for this suggestion and any others you may have!
Just having a cup of Liqurous tea now. I have been diagnosed with Barretts Esophageal so hoping it will help with lining of the gut.
My 31 year old son has an acquired T6 complete spinal cord injury. He has leg spasms sometimes from Urinary tract infections and sometimes the leg spasms origination is unknown. He has a suprapubic catheter and changes it himself. He has a baclofen pump for his leg spasms that sometimes isn’t enough. So…why are his leg spasms occurring and what is the best breakthrough therapy for his leg spasms. His doctors have suggested changing medications from lyrica to gabapentin but he doesn’t think that’s the answer as he’s been on gabapentin before and switched to lyrica. He takes Valium as an adjunct when his spasms are out of
Control but is there a better way to control the pain? His doctors have suggested a spinal cord stimulator and/or Botox.
