Born to Heal

Nan from Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands, asked:

Hi Julie,

I watched your interview on the Next Level Soul podcast and was deeply impressed by your story. One thing you said really stayed with me, “Everyone can do this.”

I would love to learn to heal people and animals. But first, do I need to heal myself? Or is it possible to heal myself by helping heal others?

You are truly inspiring. Thank you.

Nan

Hi Nan,

Thank you for your question and your kind comments.

Yes, absolutely! Everyone has the innate ability to be a healer of people, pets, plants, trees, and virtually anything. In fact, we’re all doing it already, even if we’re not aware of it.

It’s highly likely you’ve comforted a child who fell. You kissed their boo-boo, gave them a hug, made everything seem better, and sent them on their way. That’s healing. Likewise, offering an encouraging word or simply being present for a friend or family member who is struggling or grieving is another beautiful form of healing.

As for healing yourself, that happens simultaneously as you help others. Not only can your body and mind benefit from the healing energy, but your spirit expands with every experience. As your awareness grows, so does your capacity to heal yourself and others.

If you’d like to learn more about energetic healing, I invite you to consider taking one of my classes. They’re informative, easy to follow, practical, and fun. Each course also includes multiple weekly practice groups, which is where your confidence grows and your skills really begin to flourish.

Hugs,

Julie
