Dandy

Jamie from Black Creek, WI, asked:

My Blue Heeler pup Dandy has had urinary issues since she was born and has been on antibiotics since July of 2019.

She went through a heat cycle and we hoped it corrected anything physical inside and out, but does she need anything more other than to be spayed?

I’m not quite sure she’s ever felt 100% in her lifetime … albeit short.

Thank you so much in advance.

Hi Jamie,

Hate to hear your pup Dandy hasn’t been feeling well. It always seems harder to watch any kind of baby, human or animal, be sick or in pain.

In order to get some information for you, I first energetically connected to you and from you to Dandy.

Once I got her on my radar (saw an image of her in my mind’s eye), I saw what looked like a partial blockage in her urethra.

The American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) says urinary obstructions in the urethra can be caused by calculi (stones), injury, a tumor, or scar tissue. I believe Dandy’s issue was congenital, meaning she was born with a partial obstruction.

Next, an energetic healing occurred where a small, corkscrew-like device tunneled through her urethra clearing the blockage. Her urethra was then irrigated, clearing any remaining debris and looked completely open.

At the end of the healing, I “watched” urine flowing from her bladder and out of her body.

At this time, I’m not “seeing” any infection.

Hope this helps and hope Dandy is soon feeling dandy!

Unborn Baby Spirits

Anonymous from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, asked:

Hi Julie,

I have a question about something that has been plaguing me with guilt and shame for many years. This question may be controversial for some.

In your book, Angelic Attendants, you describe how the spirits of deceased loved ones show up when we are dying to help us transition into the spirit world. You state that you have seen spirits of unborn babies show up as well. My impression is that you are mostly talking about miscarried babies.

In my 20’s, I had an unplanned pregnancy and I made the difficult decision to abort. At that time, I didn’t feel that I was in a position to raise a child.

I am now a proud mother of two beautiful teenage boys, and when I think back, I wonder if I made the wrong decision.

Have you seen aborted babies show up during transition as well?  Would that baby have made a contract on when it would die, or was my decision (self-will) overriding its contract?

Any insight that you have on this is much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for having the courage to ask such a heart-felt question, one many women wonder about.

It has been my experience in working with countless families over the past couple of decades that indeed, the spirits of miscarried, stillborn, and aborted babies are present when their mother is dying.

And, most importantly, these babies’ spirits are around their mothers throughout their whole lives.

We all choose where, when and to whom we’re born and our spirits attach to our mother’s (and if applicable), our adopted mother’s energy field before we’re conceived.

Baby spirits look like small orbs, the kind you see in photographs. They remind me of the orb Glenda the Good Witch rode inside in the Wizard of Oz movie. These baby spirit orbs can be seen over their mother’s shoulder.

In addition, our spirits decide when, where, how, and who’s with us when we die. It’s my perception there isn’t a set “contract” about when we decide to leave, rather, when we’re finished exploring this lifetime, we simply choose to transition back into non-physical. This pertains to aborted babies as well as anyone who has ever lived.

If you wish, you can communicate with your aborted baby anytime. Just say something to it either aloud or silently. Its response will immediately come into your head. It’ll feel like one of your thoughts. If you think about the answer for more than a couple of seconds, that will be your brain answering you.

Hope this information provides some comfort to you.

Too Late To Quit

What is it that keeps us going even when things seem bleak? Is it some sort of will to survive, an innate sense of insatiable curiosity or a spiritual force that guides us? I believe it’s all that and more.

The human race has faced countless natural disasters, plagues, wars, and other life shattering events throughout the ages and we’re still here.

Perhaps we can learn from our ancestors and senior citizens, those who’ve survived and thrived and whose lives can inspire us now.

One such role model is Sylvia Myers Willoughby, the mother of my friend Sheri Myers.

Last fall, Sylvia moved to an assisted living facility. As Sheri was cleaning out her mother’s home, she discovered a treasure trove of Sylvia’s paintings. It seemed Sylvia never thought it necessary to display her art, she just painted because she enjoyed it.

Sheri’s discovery led to Sylvia, at the age of 92, holding her first art show, publishing a book of her paintings and agreeing to allow them to be sold in a collection of note cards and prints.

In addition, Sylvia (now in hospice care) inspired a new book called It’s Too Late To Quit, a compilation of wisdom, guidance and suggestions to help people live their dreams.

What we can learn from Sylvia’s story is, there’s no reason to quit … ever! Regardless of your age or circumstances, following your intuition can lead to a meaningful life filled with immeasurable joy!

Dream Interpretation

Amparo from Sacramento, CA, asked:

Hello Julie,

My daughter gave me your Angelic Attendants book for Christmas and I am loving it. I have been listening to your podcast and am now an avid follower.

My mother passed a year ago and your book is timely in the sense that I have gone through the shock of losing her but the hurt of missing her is still very present. I talk to her all the time, and I dream about her continuously.

One dream stands out more than others that I’d like to share and ask did this really take place between us?

In my dream, I went to meet up with my mother in a cabin in the middle of woods. It was early in the morning, the fog was lifting from the forest and I could see the sun rising.

I walked up to this cabin and went in to find my mother. She looked young, healthy and happy. We greeted each other with a hug and a kiss. (Other dreams I’ve had were of me weeping and her consoling me.)

I looked around the cabin and it was completely empty. There were two chairs in front of the fireplace and she was putting wood on the fire. My mother motioned for me to sit and we sat across from each other. She mostly spoke and I listened but for the life of me, I can’t remember what she said. I have been at peace since that dream.

My name is Amparo from Sacramento, CA and my mother is Maria. Does she have a message for me?

Thanks.

Hi Amparo,

What a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing it.

We all dream every night and most of us, at some point in our lives, have tried to figure out what our dreams mean. Is this even possible? To extrapolate a message from a dream? Researchers at Johns Hopkins University think it is.

In September 1999, the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health published a study in the journal Birth in which 104 pregnant women were asked to guess their baby’s sex. (This was way before gender reveal parties were the norm.)

The moms were told they could use any method they liked (dreams, hunches, pendulums, tea leaves, etc.) to predict their baby’s sex. The women had a 55% accuracy rate, the same as random guessing.

An interesting finding however also materialized from this study. Researchers found women with the highest levels of education (12 years or more) accurately predicted their baby’s sex a whopping 71% of the time. And these women most often based their predictions on dreams.

I don’t believe you had a dream about your mother. I believe you had a visit from and with your mother!

Visits are different from normal dreams. The colors are more vibrant and our senses seem to be in a heightened sense of awareness. It’s as if we’re dreaming in super High Definition.

Several years after my younger sister Joan died, her husband Regis called to tell me about a dream he’d had about her.

In the dream, when Regis walked into their living room, Joan was sitting on the couch and asked him where he’d been. He said, “Where have I been, where have YOU been?” Joan replied, “I’ve been here waiting for you.” Regis kept telling me, “It felt so real.”

The next morning, Regis (who lived alone) noticed the hall closet light was on. This was the closet in which my sister kept all her coats and according to Regis, it hadn’t been opened in years.

Regis didn’t have a dream about Joan, he’d had a visit from her and she turned on the closet light to prove it!

Keep doing your best to remember your dreams, especially the vivid ones and ask your mom what she’s trying to tell or show you. Her answers will come into your head and feel like your thoughts. The ones that materialize instantly, within a second, will be coming from your mom’s spirit. The thoughts you think about for more than a couple seconds will be your brain talking to you.

Some people find it helpful to keep a pen and paper next to their bed to make notes. I’ve even dictated information I receive in a dream into my cell phone so I remember it in the morning.

Your mother wanted you to know she’s always around you and that you can communicate with her anytime, anyplace … even while you’re sleeping!

Why I Drink

Lisa from Springfield, MO, asked:

Hey Julie,

Just wondering if you could help me with my heavy drinking of vodka and rum.

I don’t know why I drink.

I’ll include, my dad was a daily beer drinker.

Thanks,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your question. It’s one that affects most if not all of us in some way.

Either we have issues ourselves, come from families with an alcoholic or at least know someone who does.

From a spiritual perspective, our spirits choose when, where, and to whom we’re born so our lives can have a trajectory that allows us to explore various topics (like addiction).

Growing up in a home with a parent who drinks a lot often leads to children who follow the same pattern and find themselves emulating the parent’s (sometimes unwanted) behavior. This situation then allows the person to explore what it’s like to have an addiction and have the opportunity to continue with the behavior and all the consequences that ensue or to change the behavior and get well.

Many people believe alcoholism or any addiction, is the result of a character flaw. However, I believe, and research shows, addiction has a physiological cause and is a disease of the brain.

It takes a lot of courage to seek help and you don’t have to do this alone. There are many licensed professionals specializing in addiction treatment who can answer your questions.

Some great resources are:

SAMHSA – (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Substance Abuse Treatment Locator – Information on thousands of state-licensed providers specializing in substance use disorders and addiction.

Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator – A confidential and anonymous source for treatment facilities for substance use and addiction.

Perhaps a next step might be checking out one of these websites to find what help may be available in your area. Then, when you have more information, your next step may be easier to make.

Sending hugs and lots of support your way!

Headache Mystery

Hallie from Chandler, AZ, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’ve had headaches off and on throughout my life since the age of 22. I’m now 45.

The headaches seem to line up with my monthly menstrual cycle and I typically get 3-5 per month.

I’m not sure why, but a typical headache started and has been ongoing for almost 10 days now. I often have some relief in the mornings, but it never fully goes away.

Unlike prior headaches, ibuprofen and Tylenol do not seem to help. It is a constant pain in my neck and up into my head. Some days the headaches are migraines.

Would love and appreciate any insight you could offer.

Thank you.

Hallie

Hi Hallie,

Sorry to hear you’ve been suffering so long with headaches. Having experienced migraines for the first 40 years of my life, I can literally feel your pain.

In order to get some information for you, I energetically connected to you and discovered a multitude of potential causes.

It looks like you have an overabundance of Candida yeast in your GI tract, it looks like you’ve been exposed to mold and it looks like your hormones are out of whack. Let’s address each one:

Candida Yeast Overgrowth is a fungal infection whose most common symptoms include digestive issues such as bloating, constipation and diarrhea, skin rashes, chronic fatigue, and migraines among many others. Again, I too suffered with Candida Overgrowth for the first 40 years of my life until a Birmingham doctor Orion Truss, MD helped me get well. (This included eradicating my migraine headaches.) You see, back in the early 1950’s, Dr. Truss, a Cornell-educated physician, discovered Candida was the cause of a variety of seemingly unrelated symptoms. He successfully treated me and patients from all over the world and is known as the “godfather” of Candida Yeast overgrowth. In short, eat whole foods, stay away from sugar and processed foods, consider getting a gut biome test and taking an anti-fungal medicine like Nystatin. In the meantime, I removed the yeast from your GI tract.

Mold Exposure – Whenever someone is exposed to mold, Candida Yeast Overgrowth is always present in their GI tract. I energetically removed the mold from your body and suggest you consider contacting Amen Clinics or the Ultra Wellness Center to help you detox further. They have a whole mold protocol to help people heal and may be able to treat you remotely.

HormonesThe Mayo Clinic says “The hormones estrogen and progesterone play key roles in regulating the menstrual cycle and pregnancy and may also affect headache-related chemicals in the brain. Having steady estrogen levels may improve headaches, while experiencing estrogen levels that dip or change can make headaches worse.” I believe a hormone imbalance is now and has been contributing to your headaches for a long time. To me, you look like you’re in perimenopause. To help you in the short-run, I applied energetic estrogen into your body and it responded nicely.

Regarding hormones, you’re going to want to investigate Bioidentical Hormones because they’re what our bodies make when we’re young and fertile. Synthetic hormones have extra molecules added to their formulas so they can be patented and are not optimal. The best way to educate yourself about all of this is to learn from Christiane Northrup, MD. I refer to her as the “fairy godmother of women’s’ health”. Dr. Northrup has written the definitive book (The Wisdom of Menopause) that educates women about what (as she says) can go right with your body.

I believe the combination of these three issues is the cause of your headaches. You may want to find a functional medicine physician who is trained to look at your body as a whole system. The Institute for Functional Medicine and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine are good places to start.

Hope all this information helps you get rid of your headaches once and for all.

Chloe

Dorothy from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, asked:

Hi Julie,

My best friend Debbie just lost her beloved dog Chloe in a tragic accident.

Last week Chloe broke through a barrier my friend had made on her balcony, fell from the 9th floor and was killed instantly.

Debbie found Chloe’s little body on the concrete floor in her building and was hysterical. She is completely devastated and feels guilty and ashamed.

She would like a message from Chloe to try and understand the spiritual reason why she decided to exit so tragically.

Many thanks Julie!

Dorothy

Hi Dorothy,

So sorry to hear about Chloe. I can only imagine what your friend Debbie is going through.

The loss of a pet can feel almost as painful as when a family member or friend passes. For some, the grief may seem more intense simply because a pet often provides companionship and unconditional love.

In addition, many of us have routines that revolve around our pets. Taking them for walks, letting them outside, feeding and play times all help form our daily lives, lives that now need to be reimagined.

The American Kennel Club says, “Just how long grief lasts varies for everyone. For some, bringing a new dog into the home sooner rather than later can help ease the pain. For others, it takes longer to open their hearts and home again. Just remember, it’s completely natural to mourn the loss of a dog, and you’re never alone in your grief.”

Per your request, I did connect with Chloe’s spirit with the hope of getting some answers for Debbie.

Chloe wanted Debbie to know her death was quick, easy, painless and instant. Just like humans, animals decide when, how, where and with whom they are when they die.

Chloe also wanted Debbie to know she is around her all the time. She said Debbie thinks she hears her and at times feels her nearby. She is correct. Chloe’s spirit is in fact letting Debbie know she’s there.

In addition, Chloe said it was a convenient time for her “go” and now is a good time for Debbie to get and train a puppy. She suggested Debbie consider getting another female dog.

Lastly, Canada Pet Loss Resources, the American Kennel Club and an organization called Chance’s Spot all offer pet loss grief support Debbie may find helpful.

Thanks for your question. Hope this information helps comfort your friend.

Pope Clement VI

Tiffanie from Houston, TX, asked:

Hi Julie,

I understand Pope Clement is one of your guides and he was the pope during the plague and pardoned all those who perished for their sins.

I’d be interested to get his take on our current pandemic.

From his higher perspective, what were some of the spiritual lessons learned for the people of his time, and what does he see as the spiritual insights we can gain in our time?

How does he view our current medical interventions, political handling, global communications and responses, etc.?

Any insight on why this is here for us now, and how we can deal with it in the most positive way for the highest good of all would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Tiffanie

Hi Tiffanie,

You are correct, Pope Clement VI (Clement) is my main spirit guide and was pope in the 14th century during the Black Plague when two-thirds of Europe died. I’ve read the pandemic was so devastating, it took 300 years for the population to return to pre-plague levels.

Although he’s best known for his prayers for the dying and dead, Pope Clement was very involved in helping all people, not just Catholics. He consulted with the best physicians and astronomers of his day and strategized with them about how to stop the spread of the disease. This included clearing the streets (similar to our current social distancing/stay-at-home measures) and consecrating the Rhone River so infected corpses could be thrown in the water and carried to the Mediterranean. At that time, the Holy See (Vatican) was located in Avignon, France.

When Jews were being blamed for the pandemic and Roman Catholics across Europe began killing Jews, Clement condemned the violence, issued papal bulls (decrees) and had his clergy spread the message that those blaming Jews were being seduced by the devil. His interventions worked and stopped further killings.

Lastly, Clement was so progressive, he granted the forgiveness of sins to all people who died from the plague regardless of gender, race, age or religious beliefs.

Sounds like Clement was way more than a religious leader, he was a statesman way ahead of his time.

When I asked Clement what he thought about the current pandemic, he said, “It’s a blip on the history of the world but it sure has gotten everyone’s attention.” He went on to say, “Many blessings are happening as a result of countries, their governments and citizens all working together for a common cause. New advancements in medicine, communication channels, protocols, commerce, and innovation in many sectors of business and society have been realized. Best of all, however, is the goodwill of mankind is on full display. Regardless of race, nationality, religion, socioeconomic status and the like, people are once again valuing each other in a way that hasn’t ever been seen before. That’s mainly because your technological advances allow information to circulate the globe with ease. The key now is, how will the world utilize the lessons learned from this relatively short period of time? Will it foster cooperation among nations for the health and betterment of all people? This can be done while focusing on the best interests of each civilization. The key is, when doing what is in the highest good of all, the results realized are better than expected outcomes warrant. Fear is a powerful motivator while love reigns supreme.”

Thanks for asking such timely and thought-provoking questions.

Peaceful Papa

Lynne from Jacksonville, FL, asked:

Hi Julie,

My father passed away about a year ago.

He had a lot of problems during his life and I would love to be able to know that his soul is at peace now.

It would be comforting to be able to receive a message from him and I would also like his advice on whether I am making the right decisions in my life.

I would be grateful if you were able to help me communicate with him.

Thanks,

Lynne

Hi Lynne,

My condolences on the passing of your father.

In order to get answers to your questions, I first energetically connected to you and then to your dad who was standing to your right.

He said he is absolutely at peace and is also having a lot of fun in his current non-physical state.

Your dad told me he finds being a spirit convenient because he can be around you anytime he wants including whenever you call on him.

Every spirit whether attached to a body or not has its own frequency, like a radio station. All we have to do to connect with our deceased loved ones is to think of them.

Our heads act like satellite dishes that transmit and receive energy frequencies and like choosing a radio station in our cars, when we think of a deceased person, we tune our receivers toward their frequency.

Say something to your dad. He’ll immediately answer you. It’ll feel like a thought in your head because spirits communicate telepathically.

Be sure to be as specific as possible when asking for advice. Although spirits always answer correctly, how usable the information you receive is will depend on how you ask the question. For example, you may ask if you’ll enjoy the concert, you get a “yes” answer and end up hating it. Your loved one’s answer applies to any concert you might attend in your whole life. If, however, you asked if you’d enjoy the concert on a certain day at a specific location to listen to whomever, that answer will be more applicable.

Regarding your question about making the right decisions in your life, your dad said you can’t make a mistake. Everything in your life is unfolding perfectly.

Hope this provides the comfort you’re seeking. Thanks for your question.
