Hi Tauni,
From a spiritual perspective, intuitive or “psychic” ability isn’t something a few people are randomly given, it’s something everyone has. What does run in families is a tendency toward certain sensitivities and, just as importantly, whether those abilities were encouraged, ignored, or even shut down.
Here are some examples:
– Strong “gut knowing” that turns out to be right
– Vivid or meaningful dreams (sometimes with visitations)
– Feeling others’ emotions deeply (empathic ability)
– Sensing energy in rooms or around people
– Knowing things without knowing how you know
– Attraction to healing, spirituality, or helping roles
Often, previous generations had these abilities but didn’t have language, or permission, to talk about them. So, they may show up in you more clearly now.
Practice strengthens clarity. Like a muscle, the more you acknowledge it, the clearer it becomes.
Most importantly, your loved ones aren’t distant, they’re always around you. If this question is coming to you, it’s often because the answer is already a quiet yes, and your loved ones are guiding you to trust what you’re beginning to sense.
