Mirela from Cumpana, Constanta, Romania, asked:
Hi Julie,
I would like to know if my parents are trying to connect and talk with me. Before my mother passed, I asked her to do everything she could to communicate with me after she left this world. I do see her in my dreams, but I would love to be able to connect with both of them while I’m awake.
Thanks,
Mirela
Hi Mirela,
Your parents are connecting with you, far more often than you realize. Dreams are one of the easiest ways for Spirit to reach us, so when your mother appears, it’s a true visitation, not imagination. When we sleep, our analytical mind quiets, our vibrational level raises, and spirit communication flows naturally.
And, you can connect with them while you’re awake. Here’s how:
- Invite them in.
Think of them and ask a question out loud or in your mind:
“Mom, Dad, please connect with me in a way I can recognize.”
Spirit responds instantly to invitation. - Pay attention to the first thought.
The answer comes within a second. It may feel like a whisper, a knowing, or a thought that seems “not yours.” - Notice the subtle signs.
Loved ones often reach out through:
repeating numbers
• a song that suddenly plays
• a scent that appears out of nowhere
• a memory that drops into your mind
• chills, tingles, or a warm sensation - Trust what you receive.
Their communication is gentle, telepathic, and often comes as thoughts or sensations rather than spoken words.
You already have the connection. Now you’re simply learning to recognize their new way of speaking to you.
If you want to learn more and get really good at communicating with your parents and other spirits, please enroll in one of my Trainings. They all come with live practice groups that help you quickly ramp up your skills.
Always remember, your parents love you, hear you, and they’re very much around you.
Hugs,
Julie

Thanks Julie. I stopped and had a quick chat with a dear one on the other side. Someone who gave good advice without “giving” advice. His wisdom was so comforting and still is. What a great reminder that they are just a breath away.
