Guardian Angels Are Real

Rupa from American Fork, Utah, asked:

Hello Julie,

My name is Rupa, and I’m writing from Utah. I’m a big fan of your podcast and the incredible work you do. It’s brought so much comfort and insight into my life.

I’ve always wondered if I have a guardian angel with me. If so, I’d love to know what they look like and how they might be guiding me.

I hope you’ll be able to answer my question, and I look forward to connecting with you soon.

With gratitude,

Rupa

Hi Rupa,

Thank you for your kind words and for being part of the Ask Julie Ryan community.

Yes, you absolutely have a guardian angel, we all do. Yours has been with you through every moment of this life and all your past lives, guiding, protecting, and loving you unconditionally.

When I energetically connected to you and then to your angel, I heard the name William. That doesn’t mean your angel is male (spirits are pure energy without gender) but we often receive names in a form that’s familiar to us.

Your guardian angel appeared to me as about six feet tall, with large wings, a white robe tied at the waist, and bare feet. He has bright blue eyes and beautiful blonde hair.

Keep in mind, that’s how I perceive him, shaped by my Catholic school upbringing. Others from different backgrounds might see their angel as a glowing orb or radiant light. Angels appear in ways we can understand based on our own frame of reference.

William wants you to know he’s always around you. To connect with him, just think of him and speak, either aloud or in your head. His response will come instantly, like a thought. The more you engage, the easier it will be to recognize his guidance.

Hugs,

Julie
