Julie Ryan

Career Quandary

Rhonda from Antioch, TN, asked:

“Hi Julie, I am lost on this journey of life, and strive to find my purpose and feel like I am running out of time. I want the freedom to enjoy the world and travel and give my children experiences I never had. For over 20 yrs I have tried many home businesses with no success and struggle to focus. I believe the stress and living check to check has taken toll on my mind, body & spirit. I am currently involved with two home biz opportunities and I’m not sure if this is what I should be doing. Can you see what I should be doing in life and give any guidance? I want to quit my job by the end of the year. Can you see what path should be taken? Thank you in advance. I will schedule a private session with you.”

Hi Rhonda,

I believe most of us experience those same frustrations/emotions at some time in our lives, so please know you’re not alone.

During the past several decades as a business woman, I’ve learned that when I pursue one of my passions, it’s fun and the money always follows. Likewise, when I do something just for the money, the venture usually fails.

When I ask about your passion, I get “sewing”. Does that make sense to you? Do you like to make clothes, monogram, darn, any or all of the above?

Whether it’s sewing or another passion, if you figure out a way to do it, you’ll most likely figure out a way to monetize doing it. Good Luck!

Blessings,

Julie
