Soul Cat Goodbye

Carrie from Nuevo, CA, asked:

Hi Julie,

Just last week I had the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to my best friend, my little soul cat, Willow.

Her passing was unexpected and the level of pain and grief has been immense. I have struggled with the guilt and hope my decision was the best for her.

Willow was more than “just a cat.” She was so much of my world and not having her here with me has been excruciating.

I asked my mom’s spirit to please keep Willow safe and to love her as I do. My mom died 15 years ago.

Please tell me if my decision was appropriate and if Willow is happy, safe, loved, and with my mom.

Thank you for your consideration.

Carrie

Hi Carrie,

I am so sorry to hear of Willow’s passing and how difficult this grieving period is for you.

Your beloved cat is absolutely with your mom and both of their spirits are around you.

Your mother showed me an image of her holding Willow. Your cat’s head was snuggled into your mom’s left shoulder.

Then, your mom showed me a scene of Willow chasing and playing with a bunch of butterflies in a beautiful meadow. The butterflies were a variety of colors and sizes.

Lastly, Willow and your mom want you to know you made the perfect decision to let her go.

You may enjoy my book Angel Messages For Cats.

Hope this information comforts you!

Dog Perceives Spirits

Sheree from Kilmore, Australia, asked:

Hi Julie,

A few things have been happening lately and I would like to know if it’s just my imagination or something more is going on.

My dog will run into my empty loungeroom and/or bedroom and just start barking randomly.

Then, just tonight while getting my son ready for bed, my car alarm started going off.

The car is in my locked garage, there was no one in there, and all doors leading outside are locked from the inside.

My dog was sitting at the garage door lightly whining just before the alarm started to go off.

Appreciate any insights you can share.

Thanks.

Sheree

Hi Sheree,

Sounds like you have some spirit activity happening in your world.

To get some information for you, I connected to you and scanned your home and garage.

I “saw” in my mind’s eye, the spirit of a large, sandy-haired man who appeared to be 6’3” and weighed around 230 pounds. He called himself Sam.

Sam was wearing a plaid cotton shirt, khaki slacks, and a light brown jacket.

I “saw” him get into your car and back a holographic image of it through your garage door, down the driveway, and into the street.

He told me he had to go pick up his daughter Layla at school.

He also told me he was a widower and a single dad. His wife Martha died from breast cancer.

I “got” the year was 1963.

Now, that’s a lot to unpack.

It’s possible Sam and his daughter at one time could have lived in your home, on your property, or in your neighborhood, and it’s probable your dog can perceive them. Animals often do.

This very real phenomenon, sometimes called an echo signal, is the detection of a transmission of an energy frequency, can be sound or light, that happened long ago and is still detectable. Think of a star in the night sky. The light emanating from a star we see today was most likely transmitted millions or perhaps billions of years ago. That’s what the term light years means.

Here in the United States, astrophysicists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory use echo mapping to measure the distance of faraway planets and galaxies.

And, Jim Tucker, MD, a scientist in Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia Medical School and his colleagues have extensive research about past lives and concurrent lifetimes happening simultaneously.

So, you’re not imagining things, your dog is very perceptive, and if you want Sam and his daughter Layla’s spirits to leave, just ask them to do so. Spirits will always honor and comply with our wishes.

Dog’s Cancerous Tumor

Vic from Apex, NC, asked:

Hi Julie,

I have a very sick pet named Miles who is dear to me and has a cancerous tumor.

I’m trying to save him and feel very conflicted. I’m very, very, upset and don’t have the clarity needed to deal with this situation.

Time is of the essence so I appreciate any guidance you can offer me even if it means I send him to Heaven.

I don’t know what to do and don’t want to make the wrong decision. My friend told me that you could assist me.

Please help Julie.

Warm regards,

Vic

Hi Vic,

So sorry to hear about Miles.

To get some guidance for you, I first energetically connected to you and then from you to Miles.

At the end of life, humans’ and animals’ spirits exit the top of the head and stay attached in a bubble configuration. Looks like a speech bubble.

Energetic healing only happens when the spirit is inside the body. At this moment, Miles’ spirit is in his body which means he isn’t dying.

With that in mind, I asked Miles the following questions:

Are you ready to go? He said, “Not quite yet”.

Are you in pain? He said, “At times, but it isn’t unbearable”.

Do you want to be euthanized? He said “Eventually”.

Lastly, I asked Miles how he’d let you know when he wanted to go to Heaven. He replied, “When I stop eating and drinking and sleep most of the time.”

Miles also told me he did not want cancer treatment.

Hope this information helps you enjoy the time you have left with your beloved pet.

Angels and Animals

Brooke from Lawrence, MA, asked:

Hi Julie,

After losing my father on November 15th, 2022, I started searching, learning, listening, and trying to get a better understanding of things from a spiritual level. This has brought me to find you on a podcast with Dr. Amy Robbins, buy your Angelic Attendants book, and listen to your podcast.

I plan on calling on Thursdays to try to get a few minutes with you to ask about my father.

In the meantime, I’m wondering if you’ve witnessed a passing animal’s transition? Is it the same as humans? Are they surrounded by angels, and perhaps animal and human spirits?

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you!

Light and love,

Brooke

Hi Brooke,

My sincere condolences on the loss of your father. I hope you found some comfort from reading my book.

As for the spiritual side of an animal’s passing, yes, I have witnessed many, including my own pets’ transitions.

It’s been my experience that like humans, an animal’s spirit exits the body through the top of the head and will stay attached during the dying process. That’s where the similarities end.

To date, I haven’t witnessed an animal being surrounded by other animal spirits, angels, or human spirits. That doesn’t mean they aren’t with those beings once they’ve transitioned, just that I don’t see it during the actively dying phase.

It’s interesting to note, however, there are many examples of animals knowing when an animal or human in their midst is dying.

For example, wild horses come to say goodbye to a dying horse in their herd, and there are many stories about elephants walking long distances in a sort of funeral procession to pay their respects to a human friend who died.

The best news however, is, our deceased pets’ spirits are always around us and we can communicate with them whenever we like.

Thanks for your question.

Finding K9 Dog

Derek from Arlington, VA, asked:

Hi Julie,

My girlfriend Celeste’s ex was a K9 trainer for a specialized military unit in Coronado, CA. Together, they purchased a Belgian Malinois, named Drew (in honor of a fallen Special Forces soldier in Afghanistan), which was both a beloved pet and a service K9 trained for explosive detection and bite work.

When they split, Celeste kept Drew and still had him when she moved in with me. When my work took me to the east coast, our living circumstances were such that she could no longer keep Drew, so she donated him to a police department in Texas.

Later, Celeste discovered she had been duped by some unscrupulous people in the service K9 industry. When she called a month later to check on her beloved pet, she was told Drew had gotten out of his kennel, had attacked the other K9 dogs, and was shot because they were unable to control him.

After doing some research, we now believe the individual who took him was actually a private party posing as a K9 broker. We don’t know if Drew is really deceased, or if those that took him used him to breed other Malinois or sold him for a few thousand dollars.

I am writing to see if you can help us find some closure as to what really happened to Drew.

I found you through your interview with Dave Asprey. I have read your book, Angelic Attendants, and am an avid listener to your podcasts

Thank you for what you do.

Derek

Hi Derek,

Thanks for your note, for reading my book, and for listening to my show.

I’m so sorry to hear about your experiences in finding Drew a new home.

To get some information for you, I first connected to you in VA and then from you to Drew. He is indeed in spirit.

Upon asking him what happened, he confirmed he was shot and killed. The scene he showed me looked like a breeding kennel situation. He showed me he was being abused by the humans running the operation and when released from his kennel, he did what he could to escape. That included attacking other dogs and the man handling him.

The good news is, Drew’s spirit is around you and especially Celeste, all the time. He is happy, healthy, and pure love.

Although this information will be difficult to hear, I hope it brings some closure and comfort to you and Celeste.

Puppy Messages

Pauline from Galway, Ireland, asked:

Hi Julie,

Myself and my daughter Anne who is 16 years old, got a puppy at Christmas and named her Bailey.

She was so special and helped us with her positivity.

Unfortunately, Bailey was knocked down and died last week. We are beyond sad.

I can’t sleep and feel so guilty that I took my eyes off her for 6 minutes and she was gone. I am having anxiety every day and night since. I’ve even asked the angels and my deceased mum to look after our little Bailey in Heaven.

The person we got Bailey from has just given us another puppy to help Anne, but I’m still so upset I can’t seem to bond with the new puppy.

Can you please help us understand why our darling Bailey was taken away from us?

Thanks.

Pauline

Hi Pauline,

My sincere condolences to you and Anne on the loss of Bailey.

As you’re experiencing, losing a beloved pet can be excruciating. Please know you’re not alone. There are many of us who’ve gone through a similar situation and it will get better.

To get some answers for you, I energetically connected to you and from you to Bailey’s spirit.

Here’s what she had to say:

– She is around you (in spirit form) all the time.

– If you think you see, feel, or hear her, you are. Bailey said you think you hear her nails clicking on the floor and then discount the thought believing it’s just your imagination. She wants you to know she’s really there.

– Bailey also said she was a warm-up for you and Anne. She said her role in your lives was to get you “softened up” and ready for the puppy you now have.

– Bailey said she sent your new puppy to you because it will be calmer and easier to care for.

Hope this information helps comfort you and Anne.

Horse Grief

Stephanie from Eureka, CA, asked:

Hi Julie,

Right before Christmas I had to put down one of my horses. Shanook hurt himself and the injury wasn’t recoverable. He’d been with me since 2004 and passed at the age of 26.

The decision to euthanize Shanook is like a knife in my heart daily. In addition, my other horse Ruger, hasn’t been the same since Shanook left us.

I can feel and see how much Ruger misses Shanook. His calls for him are less frequent and I get the feeling that Ruger may be angry at me for what happened because he is different with me now.

Ruger used to greet me daily and now he doesn’t acknowledge me unless i walk in front of him. He just stares off like he is waiting for Shanook to show up.

Is there a way you can tell Ruger I miss Shanook too and that he is no longer in pain? They were together for 24 years so I know Ruger is missing him too.

They were so beautiful together. Ruger is a black and white Paint and Shanook was a brown, white, and black Paint. They were best friends.

Thank you for your consideration.

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

My condolences on Shanook’s passing. Many of us find losing a beloved pet is just about as painful as losing a human loved one.

Research shows horses actually do grieve. Equine Wellness Magazine says, “Some horses show easily observable expressions of grief, such as waiting for days by the gate through which their buddy disappeared, exhibiting reduced social interaction, or appearing depressed. Their eyes may be lackluster, their usual expressions of joy may fall by the wayside, and even food intake may be reduced. Sometimes they will just be a little quieter overall, which can easily go unnoticed. These signs of grieving are most likely to become apparent shortly after the loss.”

Speaking of equine grief, it’s interesting to note that wild horses have a good-bye ritual they perform when one of their fellow horses is dying. Similar to people coming to visit a human loved one at the end of their life, wild horses come in families and take turns individually sharing breath with the dying horse.

Katherine Houpt, DVM, Ph.D., physiologist and animal behaviorist at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University says, “Behavioral treatment is aimed at getting the grieving horse interested in its environment again and may be assisted with medical and pharmaceutical options to treat anxiety, depression, not eating, etc.”

To get some personalized information for you, I spoke (telepathically) to both Shanook and Ruger.

Shanook wants you to know how much he appreciates your euthanizing him. He said his pain was tremendous and that when his spirit left his body, he felt like Pegasus. He even showed me an image of him flying upwards just like the mythological winged horse. He also said he visits you in your dreams.

When communicating (again, telepathically) with Ruger, he said he misses Shanook very much, understands why you had Shanook put down, and now just feels lonely most of the time. If possible, Ruger would like for you to get another horse, and asks that you get a younger horse who will be around for a long time.

Hope this information helps comfort you.

Developing Intuitive Abilities

Jay from Williamsville, NY, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’m curious to know what event (if any) initiated your ability to reach into the realms to help other living souls.

Can you share the what, when, where, and how that resulted in your healing and reading abilities?

Thank you.

Jay

Hi Jay,

Thanks for your curiosity and kind comments.

Although I jokingly tell people I’m not one of those psychics who’s had dead people chasing her since childhood, it’s the truth. I learned how to be a medical intuitive and psychic medium.

My “woo-woo” journey began about 30 years ago when a friend gave me Anatomy of the Spirit by Carolyn Myss who calls herself a medical intuitive, a description I hadn’t ever heard before.

This piqued my curiosity since I was in the hospital supply industry developing, manufacturing and selling medical devices that helped people heal. So, I went to a bookstore to see what else I could find on the topic. (The internet wasn’t yet an option.)

That’s where I found Hands of Light by Barbara Brennan, PhD. In her book, Dr. Brennan, a former NASA physicist, parlayed complicated quantum physics principles used in energy healing into understandable language a non-scientific person like me could understand.

These two books led me to enroll in a six-year program where I learned about energy fields, energy healing and other related topics at the School of Healing Arts in Nashville, TN.

Fast forward and I now teach people from all walks of life and many countries how to do every “woo-woo” thing I do in my Angelic Attendant Training. This includes medical intuitive scans, energy healing, pet communication and healing, conversing with spirits (both alive and deceased), past life scans, and being able to tell if a person is close to death. We’re all born with intuitive abilities, it’s just a matter of developing and enhancing them.

More details about my journey are in my book Angelic Attendants: What Really Happens As We Transition From This Life Into The Next.

Angels and Dementia

Rebecca from Buckinghamshire, England, asked:

Hi Julie,

My mother is in the very late stages of dementia and is bed bound. I care for her at home.

She sleeps most of the day, but when she’s awake, she often has conversations with people I can’t see. Sometimes she mentions them by name and smiles and laughs. I cannot understand the conversations as she’s no longer very coherent. My mother also gasped at seeing our old pet dog, “Henry!” This is all from a woman who can no longer give names in “normal” conversation.

It brings me great comfort, as I think she’s obviously straddling different realms. She’s been seeing these visitors for quite a few months. At times she seems to look in awe (possibly angels?).

Do you know how the transitions work with dementia?

I have a private reading booked with you but it’s not until January.

Many thanks for your time.

Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for your note about your mom seeing angels, deceased relatives, and pets. I too find it comforting that we’re all surrounded by these spiritual entities as we transition from this life to Heaven.

Having dementia is of no consequence to the Twelve Phases of Transition™ process.

It has been my experience we all go through the Twelve Phases of Transition™ as we’re dying. This is the case regardless of whether we die instantly like in a homicide or suicide, or like your mom, over a prolonged period of time.

What may often be interpreted as a symptom of dementia or a hallucination, seeing deceased loved ones in dreams or visions at the end of life has now been validated with university-based research.

In his book Death Is But A Dream, Dr. Chris Kerr, a hospice director, reports his research showed close to 90% of the 1,400 patients studied reported just that.

In my Angelic Attendants: What Really Happens As We Transition From This Life Into The Next, I describe in detail how we’re surrounded by angels and deceased loved ones and pets as we’re dying.

My book addresses what your mom is experiencing from the spiritual perspective while Dr. Kerr’s book discusses the same findings from a medical/research point of view.

Your mom is currently in Phase 7 of the Twelve Phases of Transition™. She tells me she isn’t ready to go, isn’t in pain, and just wants to spend a bit more time with her family.

Hope this information provides some additional comfort to you as you go through this time. Look for little miracles along the way. You’ve been given one already just knowing your mom is surrounded by angels and deceased loved ones.

P.S. – Regarding our January appointment, periodically check for earlier appointments by clicking on the “reschedule” button on your confirmation email. Clients often reschedule.
