The Art of Intuition

Cristina from Gilly, Switzerland, asked:

Hi Julie,

First of all, I would like to send you millions of thanks for what you do, providing closure and so much love. You are an amazing being and the light within you shows through all your pores.

My question is about purpose. I was born in Romania in a time when abortion wasn’t legal, and my mom made it very clear all my life that i was an inconvenience. Until my teens, I wondered if I was adopted because I never felt loved, and maybe because of that, I always felt I didn’t belong to this world.

Throughout my life, I have had numerous “strange” events happen to me, mostly in dreams where I talked with people who died that evening or finding out about children yet to be born.

My life has been extremely difficult but made me realize my intuitive strength and that I need to pave the way for other women who are in the place I was for a very long time. Could you please tell me if this is my calling? I keep asking for signs and feel like I’m out of touch with guidance from spirit.

Thank you from the bottom of my soul. I hope you feel the gratitude I am sending you now.

Wishing you an amazing year ahead!

Cris

Hi Cris,

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. It’s wonderful to hear such encouraging words and to know that my experiences can potentially help others on their journeys. You’re absolutely right about the importance of paying attention to the guidance we receive from within, often referred to as intuition or divine inspiration.

Life presents us with countless ideas and opportunities, and when those thoughts resonate with us, it’s a sign that we are aligned with our true selves and our higher purpose. It’s as if the universe is whispering to us, urging us to explore new avenues and make positive changes in our lives.

I’ve come to realize a profound concept about the vibrational frequency of our thoughts. Just like tuning in to a specific radio station, we need to attune ourselves to the frequency of the ideas and guidance we receive. When we are in sync with these higher vibrations, we are more likely to manifest our desires and turn our ideas into reality.

The notion that if we receive an idea, it’s achievable, is a powerful one. It reminds us that our dreams and aspirations are not arbitrary; they come to us because we have the potential to bring them to fruition. It’s our self-doubt and fear that often hold us back from pursuing these ideas.

My book, The Two-Minute Rule®: The Key to an Amazing Life, is a valuable resource for anyone seeking to overcome their irrational fears and embrace a life filled with meaning, joy, fulfillment, and purpose. It’s essential to recognize and address these fears so they don’t paralyze us and prevent us from taking action.

Regarding the reason behind the tough times we go through can be inspiring. Perhaps those challenges were meant to provide us with the wisdom, empathy, and experience necessary to support and guide others facing similar situations.

Thank you for submitting such an uplifting question and in doing so, inspiring us to take that first step towards the next phase of our life’s journey. May this information serve as a beacon of hope and encouragement for anyone seeking positive change and personal growth.

Spiritual Career Advice

Paige from Baxter, MN, asked:

Hi Julie,

Long time listener here reaching out from snowy Minnesota! I love listening to your podcasts and would appreciate your insight.

I am struggling at my current job and no longer feel like a vibrational match for the work I do. I feel stuck. I know that I can go out and find an alternate career to make money, but at this point I am truly looking for something that brings me fulfilment and joy rather than just a paycheck.

I am currently working for a Real Estate agency doing things such as marketing and agent training, along with a bunch of miscellaneous tasks. I have been doing my best to stay positive and be open to new opportunities but nothing has quite piqued my curiosity. My gut tells me it is in my best interest to leave my current position at this agency.

Would you or my guides have any advice for me in this instance?

Thank you, and much love!

Paige

Hi Paige,

Thanks for your kind comments and for listening to my show.

If you were a trust fund baby and had more money than you could ever spend in a lifetime, what would you do for fun? Would you travel, start some type of philanthropy, or become a champion rock climber?

The first thoughts that enter your mind will be a clue from spirit (God, your spirit guides, angels, deceased loved ones, etc.) for how to proceed.

Every day we humans receive lots of spiritual guidance in the form of thoughts. Some thoughts feel bad or don’t make sense to us while others feel neutral or good. Thoughts that feel good are called intuition and are ideas/guidance from spirit.

Most intuitive thoughts go unheeded. We think them and either let them go intending to address these ideas at another time, or, we immediately think of why we can’t act on them.

For example, say you get a thought to visit Rome and you immediately think of reasons why you can’t go. You don’t speak Italian, don’t know anyone in Rome, don’t have the money to pay for a plane ticket, hotel and meals, and don’t have anyone to go with you. You get the idea.

So, to help you manifest your new career, pay attention to what interests and excites you. What do you want to learn more about? Then take a step in the direction of your interest. It may be as simple as visiting a website, reading a book, or watching a YouTube video on the subject.

You’ll be led to the next step and the one after that and so on. Trust everything is unfolding perfectly in the most optimal way and time. Expect the people and circumstances to show up right when you need them and they will. Stay focused on what you want not how you’ll get it. When we allow, our wishes can materialize in sometimes magical ways. When we try to control how or when something can or will happen, we block experiences that can be even better than what we’d imagined.

Pablo Picasso said, “Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” I agree. The most important part of creating anything, including an amazing career for yourself, is to take action. Follow your interests and be open to where the journey leads you.

P.S. – Stay at your current job until you have another source of income to take its place!

Inspiration

Sonetchka from San Juan, Puerto Rico, asked:

Hi Julie,

Lately I’ve been giving myself a gift by taking a healing class about energy, better vibration, provoking myself to feel good, meditation, and many other subjects related to spiritual and personal growth. It has been a blast and my current job enables me to have the time to do this and enjoy the lessons. So far so good.

Last week I gave a workshop to a very segregated group of people who live in a project in Guayama, Puerto Rico, about my experiences and the experiences of others who have succeeded in life in spite of their circumstances. I saw these people’s faces light up and felt a wall come down. It was grand.

There have been very few times in my life when I felt this marvelous energy and had a feeling of being at the right place at the right time. Should I follow my gut and keep training and studying to be able to share and help others? And, should I remain in my current job while I pursue this new adventure?

Thanks for your time and passion.

Hi Sonetchka,

First, I hope you and your family are safe after Hurricane Maria.

Second, in order to answer your question about whether or not to continue your studies so you can help others, I asked several questions on your behalf. They were:

– Is it in Sonetchka’s best interest to educate herself about energy principles? I got a YES.

– Is it in Sonetchka’s best interest to explore working with underprivileged people to help them better their lives? I also got a YES.

– Is it in Sonetchka’s best interest to remain at her present job until she earns enough money from her new venture to support herself? Once again I got a YES.

Having said all that, I suggest continuing to follow your heart. When evaluating the options, pay attention to what FEELS good, what EXCITES you, what MOTIVATES you, and what makes you HAPPY.

All of the above mentioned emotions represent inspiration. If something feels bad, that’s your spirit letting you know you’ve gone a bit off track. However, when something feels good, that’s your spirit prompting you to take action and look for the next step. If the next step also feels good, take it. If it doesn’t, reevaluate until you come to something that does.

This process of doing what feels joyful (inspiration), will lead you, step by step, to amazing life experiences and adventures.
