Soul Cat Goodbye

Carrie from Nuevo, CA, asked:

Hi Julie,

Just last week I had the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to my best friend, my little soul cat, Willow.

Her passing was unexpected and the level of pain and grief has been immense. I have struggled with the guilt and hope my decision was the best for her.

Willow was more than “just a cat.” She was so much of my world and not having her here with me has been excruciating.

I asked my mom’s spirit to please keep Willow safe and to love her as I do. My mom died 15 years ago.

Please tell me if my decision was appropriate and if Willow is happy, safe, loved, and with my mom.

Thank you for your consideration.

Carrie

Hi Carrie,

I am so sorry to hear of Willow’s passing and how difficult this grieving period is for you.

Your beloved cat is absolutely with your mom and both of their spirits are around you.

Your mother showed me an image of her holding Willow. Your cat’s head was snuggled into your mom’s left shoulder.

Then, your mom showed me a scene of Willow chasing and playing with a bunch of butterflies in a beautiful meadow. The butterflies were a variety of colors and sizes.

Lastly, Willow and your mom want you to know you made the perfect decision to let her go.

You may enjoy my book Angel Messages For Cats.

Hope this information comforts you!

Blind Cat

Fabia from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, asked:

Hi Julie,

I came across you on Instagram and am hoping to have a general reading with you some day.

In the meantime, I was wondering if you could answer a question about my beloved cat, which is 19 years old.

My fur baby has had some health issues lately and just recently went blind. Since that happened, he now hides in the basement. I have to bring him up to take him outside.

Is there anything else I can do to help him stay upstairs and make him comfortable?

Thank you,

Fabia

Hi Fabia,

In order to get more information for you, I energetically connected to you in Canada and from you to your cat.

When I scanned him, I could see (in my mind’s eye) what looked like damaged nerves to both of your cat’s eyes. The pet health network website says, “Optic neuritis or inflammation of the optic nerve is relatively uncommon in cats but does occur and is associated with viral infections, protozoal infections and fungal infections. The term “optic neuritis” compromises all diseases of the optic nerve that cause deterioration and usually produce a sudden visual field problem or total loss of vision in one or both eyes.

In addition, I asked my brand new daughter-in-law Mallory who is a veterinarian about your cat. Dr. Mal said, his blindness is most likely caused by hyperthyroidism and or hypertension that has caused retinal detachment. I “got” (received information) these issues were also at play.

So, in order to help your cat, I did an energetic healing that generated new nerve tissue on both of his eyes and also fixed his detached retinas.

When looking through his eyes from behind, I could see a small hole of vision begin to appear in the center of his eyeballs. I believe his vision may improve with time.

Lastly, your cat told me he’s hanging out in the basement because sunlight hurts his eyes. He said he’s more comfortable in low light or darkness. You may want to see about getting a pair of feline sunglasses for him. Perhaps the pet store or your vet can help you with that.

Hope you find this information useful and hope your cat’s vision improves.

Feline Frailty

Cathleen from Woodbine, MD, asked:

Hi Julie,

I volunteer at a cat rescue and go there daily to feed Ana, a young female Siamese cat who has an unnamed neurological problem that limits her mobility. She is only able to move her head, neck and shoulders.

Ana also has a seizure disorder. She has shown improvement over the past few months taking oral Doxycycline.  Before that she had even less mobility.  She is a much loved cat and seems happy but we would all love to know what can be done to help her significantly.

Thanks and blessings to you new friend!

Cathleen

Hi Cathleen,

How wonderful of you to volunteer at a cat rescue and be so concerned about Ana the Siamese.

In order to get some information, I first energetically connected to you in Maryland and from you to Ana the cat.

Once I got her on my radar, the energy went directly to the inside of her head. There I saw what looked like a lot of scar tissue in the center of her brain that was preventing her neurological system from operating correctly. It was literally a case of “wires getting crossed”.

Based on what I saw, this condition looked like it was congenital and had something to do with her neurological system not being properly formed as she was developing in utero.

I watched a healing occur where the scar tissue in Ana’s brain was removed. Then stem cell energy filled in the divots where the scar tissue had been and generated new brain matter. Stem cell energy looks like clear fog with sparkles in it and has a gelatinous consistency. It is used to generate whatever type of material (bone, muscle, tissue, etc.) is needed.

Once the new brain tissue was in place, Ana’s neural pathways lit up and immediately positioned themselves into a correct neurological layout.

In summary, Ana’s brain now looks like that of a normally functioning cat. You might want to investigate using the antioxidant Glutathione to help alleviate Ana’s symptoms. It has been shown to improve seizures and Parkinson’s Disease in both humans and pets.

It’ll be interesting to see if Ana’s symptoms are noticeably different.

Please let us know.

Nelson The Cat

Kelly from Saline, MI, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’ve heard you help others with pets on your podcast – so I’m hoping you can give me some advice on mine!

My big orange kitty, Nelson, is about 15 1/2 years old. He has had various skin issues throughout his life and now, he has a growth (a little smaller than a dime) on his chin. It doesn’t seem to bother him too much other than it may be a bit itchy.

The vet is assuming it’s a tumor and has recommended that we laser it off. However, she has advised it could very well grow back and potentially be more aggressive.

Can you scan Nelson and let me know what you see and if removing the tumor is the best course of action?

Thank you!

Hi Kelly,

In order to get some information for you, I first energetically connected to you and from you to Nelson (love his name). He is very cute.

The growth on Nelson’s chin looks like a sebaceous cyst to me. Although the surface area is the size of a dime, it has a conical shape that goes to a point inside. In addition, the cyst looks to be filled with sebum, a waxy, paste-like substance comprised of keratin, a protein found in skin and hair.

I believe it’s in Nelson’s best interest to have the cyst removed. At this time, I don’t “get” it will grow back.

Hope this helps.

My best to Nelson!

Alfie

Leanne from Auckland, New Zealand, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’d love it if you could answer a question about my beautiful cat Alfie.  I had to put Alfie to sleep last year after he was hit by a car.

At the time, I was and am still completely heartbroken by his death and also feel extreme guilt for having him put to sleep.

Is Alfie ok where he is? Is he around me still? Does he know how much I love him? And does he forgive me for making the choice to put him to sleep?

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question.

Hi Leanne,

My condolences on the loss of Alfie. I love his name and the Burt Bacharach song “What’s It All About Alfie”.

So, in keeping with the song, I connected to Alfie through you and asked him what his being hit by a car was all about.

Alfie said he was ready to transition back into non-physical and he knew getting hit by a car was a quick way to get there.

He also said by euthanizing him, you did exactly what he wanted you to do. It helped him avoid unnecessary suffering.

Alfie wanted you to know that when he was alive, he felt (and still feels) very loved by you. Please know he is always around you and will be for the rest of your life.

Alfie told me you often think you hear him and you’re correct. You are hearing him. It’s how he lets you know he’s close by.

One last thing, Alfie showed me a scene of a kitten batting at a tea bag (or something that looks like it) dangling from a string. Perhaps it’s time for you to consider getting another cat.

Hope this information provides some comfort.
