Finding Our Purpose

Monica from Lisbon, Portugal, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’ve always had a strong desire to search for answers to what my mission is in this world, on this planet.

At the age of 35, I am exhausted trying to find my purpose, what I’m good at and what I should do for living.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Monica

Hi Monica,

Thanks for your question. It’s one I’m often asked.

Most of us believe we should know our purpose in life and know a route that will direct us to a destination of total fulfillment.

Hate to break it to you, but life doesn’t work that way. No wonder you’re exhausted trying to find a path that doesn’t exist. The missing link here, is, we create our purpose/destiny one step at a time as we progress through life.

Every spirit incarnates to have the human experience and that boils down to exploring and experiencing all life has to offer.

Furthermore, each spirit comes in with a very generalized script of something it wants to create. It may involve being a teacher.

As you can imagine, there are many ways to teach. It can be in a school, university, hospital, company, etc. The options are endless and may involve multiple scenarios in a lifetime (e.g., a schoolteacher becomes a corporate educator).

We create our purpose/destiny as we go through life by following where we’re led.

Pay attention to what you find interesting, enjoyable, and just plain fun. That’ll be your clue to figuring out your next step. Use your feelings to guide you. If something feels bad in any way (boredom, anxiety, fear, etc.), that’s your spirit letting you know you’ve veered off course. Think of emotion as an internal GPS we all possess.

One last thing, it’s impossible to make a mistake. Everything always unfolds perfectly in our lives and benefits us in some way. Knowing what we don’t want helps us create what we do want.

Enjoy the adventure!

Angels, Spirits, Transition

Suz from East Hanover, NJ, asked:

Hi Julie,

Can someone be in the middle of the twelve phases and actively be living their lives, like going on errands and doing chores?

Love your show!

Thanks,

Suz

Hi Suz,

First, thanks for your kind comments about my show. I love doing it.

Second, what a great question about the Twelve Phases of Transition™.

Everyone goes through a process I call the Twelve Phases of Transition when they die. It involves a configuration of angels and the spirits of deceased loved ones and pets and changes as we approach death. This occurs whether we die instantly like in the case of a homicide or suicide or whether we take days, weeks, months or even years to pass.

If we remember time doesn’t exist in the spirit world, (it’s a human creation), it’s easier to wrap our heads around this concept.

Having said all that, yes, it’s entirely possible to be living life to the fullest and then transition. Happens all the time.

In addition, it’s also possible to move backwards from advanced phases of transition and to even decide to live.

My brother’s friend was in Phase 11 and I fully expected him to quickly pass. His spirit had other ideas because he healed and is still living … 15 years later!

Hay House founder Louise Hay had the right idea when she said, “Happy, Healthy, Dead”!

Tragedy To Hope

Sally from Tampa, FL, asked:

Hi Julie,

Our 8 year-old daughter transitioned in 2020 following a very long cancer journey. We also have a 10 year-old son and would like to increase our family.

Although we know this wouldn’t replace our daughter, we believe our son would like a sibling and our home is painfully quiet at the moment.

We talked about expanding our family before our daughter was diagnosed at age 3 but then life happened and plans changed.

Is having another child possible for us? And if so, what that would that look like (adoption, surrogacy, IVF)?

Can you please ask our daughter what she thinks of this idea? I know she’s still with us, but I miss her – in the physical world – every second of every minute of every hour of every day.

Thank you Julie.

Sally

Hi Sally,

My condolences on the loss of your daughter. I can’t even imagine what you and your family have experienced with her illness and subsequent passing.

In order to get some information for you, I energetically connected to you and “saw” (in my mind’s eye) two babies’ spirits attached to your energy field. They look like little orbs and are positioned over your right shoulder.

No, they aren’t twins, rather, they are spaced with one out front and the other behind it in the near distance.

As to if these little spirits will incarnate? At this time, I get a “YES”.

How will they be conceived? I get “With the help of IVF”.

Now, having said all that, keep in mind, a future event is fluid and has a bazillion variables that can affect its outcome. This means, the answers I “get” today, may be different in the future.

Lastly, your daughter thinks your having more children is a (in her words) brilliant idea!

Hope this information provides some comfort and at the same time some joy to you and your family.

Sending big hugs from Sweet Home Alabama down to you in Florida!

Sugar Addiction and Infertility

Danielle from Indian Rocks Beach, FL, asked:

Hi Julie,

I’m super interested in spirituality and I’m blown away by you!

I suffer from what I think is an eating disorder (extreme addiction to sugar) and experience infertility. Are the two related?

Can you help?

Thank you!

Danielle

Hi Danielle,

Thanks for your kind comments.

Regarding your sugar addiction, welcome to the club!

Most of us have an addiction to sugar and I, in particular, have an enormous issue with it. So much so, that I completely gave up eating sugar over two years ago.

Statistics show the average American adult ingests 22 teaspoons of sugar a day while children eat a whopping 34 teaspoons of sugar a day!

The Cleveland Clinic suggests the following to break the sugar habit in 10 days:

1) Make the decision to quit

2) Avoid all sugars and artificial sweeteners

3) Drink unsweetened coffee or tea and avoid all juices

4) Add protein to every meal

5) Only eat non-starchy vegetables

6) Include good fats at every meal (I like Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil)

7) Manage stress

8) Avoid Gluten and dairy

9) Sleep

Now, to your other question about sugar interfering with your fertility. The answer is absolutely!

Stonybrook Medicine at the State University of New York says, “When processed sugars are eaten, insulin levels spike and flood the body. For purposes of fertility, they can interfere with the process of egg maturation. Insulin and hormones that make egg cells mature are so chemically similar, that when there is too much insulin in the bloodstream, the body confuses the insulin with the egg-maturing hormones, causing the levels to lower. Consistent occurrence of this may cause the amount of maturing eggs to decrease and interfere with ovulation.

Plus, when your hormone production is stunted, too much testosterone is released by the body which can lead the woman to developing PCOS, which make conceiving difficult.”

Lastly, there is hope. If I can completely give up sugar after a lifetime of failed attempts, you can too!

Smoking Spirit

Vita from Tampa, FL, asked:

Hi Julie,

I am writing to you because I need help figuring out who the ghost is I keep smelling in my house.

Intuitively, I can feel a presence, but can’t communicate with it. It also feels like someone sits on my bed at night when I am laying down.

Since I am very sensitive to energies around me, I’d like to know if this spirit is good or bad and what it needs from me.

Why am I the only one in my house who can smell and feel it?

How can I help it get to the light or if it’s a guide, what is it trying to communicate to me?

Please help me.  I do not smoke so it really bothers me when the odor becomes really strong.

Thank you,

Vita

Hi Vita,

Thanks for your question about the smoky smell in your home. It’s an interesting one and speaks to a phenomenon I too have encountered many times.

Psychic or intuitive information can be communicated a multitude of ways. Visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), kinesthetic (feeling), olfactory (smelling), and direct knowing are all modalities spirits use to convey information to us and let us know they’re around.

To get some information for you, I energetically connected to you and “saw” in my mind’s eye, the spirit using the smell of smoke and sitting on your bed to get your attention.

While alive, his name was Thomas Pennington, he was a writer who lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1924 and he told me he’s one of your spirit guides.

Thomas wants you to consider doing automatic writing to enhance your intuitive skills. A how-to book I highly recommend is Michael Sandler’s Automatic Writing Experience.

By the way, all spirits are pure love. Evil or bad spirits don’t exist. Personality traits, both positive and negative a person had while alive cease to exist when they die.

In addition, we all come in with intuitive abilities and yours seem to be a bit more developed than others who live with you. That’s why they aren’t perceiving the smoke.

Lastly, if you really want to strengthen your intuitive skills, please consider taking my Angelic Attendant Training class. In it, you’ll have a blast and learn how to do all the woo-woo things I do.

Children See Spirits

Margaret from Edison, NJ, asked:

Hi Julie,

My 18-month-old grandson Johnny passed away on November 16, 2020. He was born with a rare chromosome disorder.

His older brother who is 3 1/2, tells his mom that he sees Johnny and Johnny is not sick anymore. He also told her Johnny is in Heaven.

We believe Johnny is an angel.

My question is, can his brother really see Johnny?

Thank you,

Margaret

Hi Margaret,

Thanks for sending such a magical question. My condolences on the loss of Baby Johnny.

Can Johnny’s older brother see his spirit? Absolutely!

And, can he talk with Johnny’s spirit? Again, absolutely!

Every human is born with the capacity to perceive and communicate with spirit. It’s hardwired into us and is known as intuitive, psychic, or telepathic abilities.

In addition, I believe all babies and little children perceive spirits. The stories are endless.

How many times have you heard of a child with an imaginary friend? Just because their parents can’t perceive the friend doesn’t invalidate its presence.

Likewise, I’ve lost count of the number of clients who’ve told me their small child talks about a deceased loved one who visits and tells them information they couldn’t have otherwise known.

Psychic/telepathic/intuitive abilities seem to fade in children around the age of 7, most likely due to parents, teachers and other adults negating what the child is experiencing. This causes the child to doubt their intuition and stop accessing it.

In my Angelic Attendant Training course, people from different countries and walks of life learn to reignite, develop, and enhance the intuitive abilities innate in all of us. It’s like riding a bike, once we re-engage, it becomes second nature to us.

Please consider getting a copy of my books Angel Messages For Kids and Angel Messages For Dogs for your grandson. They’re children’s picture books that explain how and why kids can perceive and communicate with spirit. They also address what happens when a loved one or pet dies and how their spirit is still around us.

My Angel Messages books are written in response to many client requests asking for a simple way to explain “woo-woo” to small children experiencing what your grandson does. An added bonus realized with the publication of the books has been in educating children, the books also educate their parents, grandparents and caregivers.

One last note, Angel Messages For Cats is in the works and will be released in time for the holidays!

Hair Loss Help

Theresa from Alanya, Turkey, asked:

Hi Julie,

I have received a diagnosis of Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA).

I belong to a FB group of women who have this condition and there is little information available. My friends and I are struggling to find anything that can help us.

We’ve been told that FFA may be auto-immune linked but the triggers are not clear. In the meantime, we are losing hair and given no hope. It’s demoralizing, frightening, worrying, and embarrassing.

Can you please tell me if my hair can grow back? I would love to give the others hope as well.

I believe in energy and its power. Can you please help?

Thank you,

Theresa

Hi Theresa,

Thanks for your question. I believe it’s one that took a lot of courage to ask and that it’s more of an issue than most of us realize.

Before I connected to you, I first wanted to know more about your condition. Here’s what I learned …

Oxford University Hospitals says, “Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia (FFA) is a condition which causes hair loss, mainly over the hairline at the front of the head and seems to predominantly affect postmenopausal women.”

In a 2017 study done in Madrid, Spain, researchers concluded, “An earlier age of menopause may imply a higher risk of developing FFA, and the use of an IUD as a contraceptive may protect against the development of FFA.” In addition, the study said, “Intake of tamoxifen, with the induction of a low-estrogen environment around the hair follicle, may also trigger or maintain the pathogenic process of FFA. Most certainly, there is no single cause for FFA, and this entity results from the dynamic interaction of genetic, environmental, and hormonal factors.”

Global women’s health expert Christiane Northrup, MD says, “It’s mostly from insulin levels that are too high. In the face of cortisol and epinephrine, this creates excess androgens which land on the hair follicle receptors. When estrogen is low and testosterone is high, male pattern baldness occurs.”

Lastly, in a 2018 Dermatology Times article, Jerry Shapiro, MD, Director of Hair and Scalp Disorders at the New York University School of Medicine, stated, “The use of certain products with sunscreens has been associated with an increased likelihood of having frontal fibrosing alopecia.” Dr. Shapiro went on to say, “One study based on questionnaires about exposure to a wide range of lifestyle, social and medical factors found that twice as many women in the frontal fibrosing alopecia group had used a sunscreen compared with controls – a difference that was highly significant.”

In order to help you with your hair loss, I energetically connected to you in Turkey and “saw” (in my mind’s eye) what looked like a low level of estrogen. When a woman is low in estrogen, her energy field resembles a wilting plant in need of water. I applied energetic estrogen and you perked right up just like a dry plant after it had been watered.

Next, I applied stem cell energy to the area of your scalp in need of hair and “watched” (again in my mind’s eye) what looked like new follicles sprout hair in the needed areas.

Do I believe you can regrow hair? Absolutely!

Please consider looking into bioidentical hormones, getting your blood sugar and insulin levels down from following a low glycemic diet and improving your immune system through healing your gut microbiome. Here’s a link to a gut biome test that can help you figure out the best foods to use to heal your body.

And finally, a friend had great luck with hair regrowth by visiting Alan Baum, MD in Boca Raton, Florida here in the U.S.  Perhaps you can learn some helpful information on Dr. Baum’s website.

Hope all this helps you and your friends experiencing FFA!

Death Comes In Threes

Laura from Saxonburg, PA, asked:

Hi Julie,

I was always told that deaths come in 3s. The saying never gave a timeline, but it was generally understood that the deaths would be in close proximity to one another.

Now obviously, many deaths happen every second across the globe but is there anything to the idea that you will be surrounded by 3 deaths of a personal relationship within a short period of time?

The reason behind my question is, I just lived this phenomenon today. Two of the deaths were pets that belonged to others but I was very close to them. One was a beagle from a litter we had and the other dog was my brother’s.

Lastly, an uncle who had a recent elective surgery, never recovered, and was only extubated last evening, passed. He took his last breaths this morning.

As a veterinary professional, I deal with death and euthanasia daily, but it was all very close to me today. Perhaps I’m suffering from compassion fatigue because my heart took a big hit today.

There is so much grief surrounding me and I’d love to know if I actually get a reprieve for a little while, “with that rule of 3’s”.

Hi Laura,

So sorry to hear of your uncle’s and favorite pets’ passing.

I too have always heard deaths come in 3s yet thankfully, I don’t recall having personally experienced it.

After doing a bit of research, I learned the “deaths come in 3’s” theory, (also known as tripartite, triple and threefold deaths) is considered to be an “old wives’ tale” originating in, among others, Greek, Celtic and Germanic mythology.

My favorite narrative on this topic is about Merlin the Magician in the legend of King Arthur. It seems Merlin is associated with what’s known as a threefold death.

The story goes, Merlin was asked to prophesize about how a boy would die and said he will fall from a rock, will hang and drown (threefold death). Fast forward a few years and the boy, as a young man, while hunting, fell from a rock, got caught in a tree, and while hanging head down, drown in a lake. Now that’s a threefold death!

To answer your question, yes, I believe you’ll get a reprieve from others close to you dying in the near future. After all, as you said, the “death comes in 3s” concept never mentions a timeline!

Pediatric Heart Murmur

Jennifer from Gillette, WY, asked:

Hi Julie,

Our four-year-old daughter just had her annual check-up.

She’s had a heart murmur since birth and today, her pediatrician heard a second murmur during a routine exam. It’s obviously concerning and he has requested we pursue an EKG with a pediatric cardiologist.

I immediately thought of you after we left his office but it was too late to call in to your show.

At bedtime, my daughter went to select a book to read tonight and of the hundred books we have, she pulled out your children’s book without any prompting. It was a God wink for sure!

I just knew I needed to reach out in hopes you might be able to provide insight into her murmurs.

Can you please do a scan and an energetic healing on her while we are in the midst of finding answers on the western medicine front?

Thank you for all you do!

Jenn

Hi Jenn,

Thanks for letting me know about your daughter. It made me a bit weepy to hear she chose Angel Messages For Kids  as her bedtime story after visiting the doctor. There aren’t any coincidences in life, even with a small child.

Per your request, I scanned your daughter and saw (in my mind’s eye) what looked like two small holes and a thinner than normal area in her ventricular septum. She has what I believe is a ventricular septal defect (VSD).

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital says, “A ventricular septal defect (VSD), is a hole between the right and left pumping chambers of the heart.” The Hospital also states, “Small ventricular septal defects rarely cause problems. A physician usually discovers these holes by noticing an extra heart sound called a murmur, on a routine physical exam.”

In order to close them, I applied stem cell energy (to grow new tissue) along with an energetic patch to the two tiny holes and the suspiciously thin-looking area.

Then, I watched (again in my mind’s eye), blood flowing normally between the two chambers of her heart.

It’s my hope this healing results in a normal diagnosis from the pediatric cardiologist.

Please keep me posted and let me know how else I may assist.

Sending big hugs to you and your little girl!
