Heavenly Advice

Ivy from Birmingham, England, asked:

Hi Julie,

If possible, I’d really love a message from my Auntie Joann or my maternal grandmother, both of whom passed years ago.

They’ve been on my mind non-stop and I’m wondering if there’s something extremely important I’m missing.

Thank you so much in advance!

Ivy

Hi Ivy,

As 2018 comes to an end and we start to focus on a new year, it’s a great time to chat with our deceased loved ones and get some advice on how to improve our lives.

In your case and in order to get some information for you, I energetically connected to you in the U.K. and then with your Auntie Joann and your grandmother. Your Aunt was standing to your right and your grandmother was next to her. That’s pretty common. It has been my experience that our deceased loved ones are often around us and know when we want to communicate with them. In this situation, when I connect with the living person, the spirits are usually standing there ready to converse with us.

Your Aunt said there wasn’t any reason for you to be distraught (her exact word). She said everything was unfolding perfectly for you and that it was important for you to remember this point. She went on to suggest thinking of things that make you smile, especially when you get scared. She said if you can force yourself to smile, even when you’re down, it’ll make you feel better and think more clearly. I agree with her. This technique works like a charm.

As for your Granny, she said you are a perfect angel (again, her exact words). She said you are kind to everyone and are always helping people. She also said, you’re very hard on yourself and she wants you to apply the same kindness you show to others on yourself.

They both said they’re often around you. They said every time you think of one or both of them, they take that as a beckon and are immediately with you. They also said they’re around you even when you don’t realize it.

Seems to me their messages are congruent. Be happy, be kind to yourself, and know everything is perfect even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Hope your 2019 is your best year yet!

Avoiding Holiday Drama

Maureen from Minnetonka, MN, asked:

Hi Julie,

Each year as the holidays approach, I find myself dreading the inevitable family dramas that always arise.

Not only do we have the equivalent of a crazy uncle who stirs up trouble, we have several relatives that seem to cause friction wherever they go and with whomever they speak. It’s miserable.

Do you have any strategies to help me get through the holidays?

Thanks.

Maureen

Hi Maureen,

What a great and timely question. During the holidays, many people feel like their family is staring in its own Soap Opera and they dread the drama.

The reasons behind these conflicts include the meshing of different personalities who aren’t often together, too much alcohol, gossip, and being around people who like to create drama to make themselves feel better.

In order to help you navigate the festivities, here are a few tips from Daniel Amen, MD, a double board-certified psychiatrist:

1) Keep Your Cool – Stay calm and others are more likely to model your behavior.

2) Build A Bridge – Do your best to look at the situation from the other person’s perspective. This can head off an argument before one has the chance to happen.

3) Distract Yourself – Hum a tune, think of happy thoughts, do whatever you need to do to avoid being drawn into the drama.

4) Take A Time-Out – Go to a separate part of the house for 10-15 minutes to cool off and not engage in the argument or discussion.

5) Try Whispering – The dramatic change in the decibel level of your voice will make everyone pay attention to what you’re saying as you attempt to diffuse the situation.

6) Take It Outside – When things get tough, either remove yourself or try to get everyone to go outside for some fresh air and exercise.

At the end of the day, the only thing we can control is our thoughts which means we all have the ability to keep anyone from ruining our experience.

Good luck. Hope this is your best holiday season ever!

Wanting A Baby

Regina from Mexico City, Mexico, asked:

Hey Julie,

Hope you’re doing well!

I’m writing because I’m a little disappointed with a health issue that happened now that my husband and I decided to try and have a baby.

I always considered myself a healthy person and always had regular periods, except this month when I was late for 15 days.

That never happened before so I was sure I was pregnant but the blood test turned negative and then my period arrived.

Could you please scan me and check the reason why this delay of my period happened?  And, can you please let me know if there is something I need to improve to avoid having irregular periods from now on?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Regina,

You’ve decided to have a baby … how exciting!

In order to get some information for you, I energetically connected to you in Mexico City and immediately saw two babies’ spirits attached to your energy field. They look like the orbs often seen in photographs and are hovering above your right shoulder. Babies’ spirits attach to the birth and adoptive (if applicable) mother’s energy field before they’re conceived. One baby’s spirit is closer than the other so it looks like you’ll be having at least a couple children, although not twins.

Next, I scanned your body to see if there were any medical conditions happening. You look completely healthy and fabulous.

Regarding your late period, I “get” you did conceive and soon thereafter miscarried causing your period to arrive. This is very common.

The March of Dimes, (a U.S. nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality), states “As many as half of all pregnancies may end in miscarriage. We don’t know the exact number because a miscarriage may happen before a woman knows she’s pregnant. Most women who miscarry go on to have a healthy pregnancy later.”

So, here’s my advice … practice, practice, practice making a baby and most importantly, have fun!

I believe you’ll soon be pregnant and become a mommy. Please let us know when that happens.

Mysterious Car Alarm

Anna from Warsaw, Poland, asked:

Hi Julie,

My boyfriend’s car used to belong to his mom who passed away 4 years ago.

Last year the alarm went off for no reason and no one in his family believed me when I told them about it. (They all thought the alarm didn’t work.) My boyfriend was abroad when it happened.

Since that time about a year and a half ago, the alarm hasn’t sounded, that is, until today. And once again, it went off for no apparent reason.

I think maybe it’s his mom warning about the woman his dad is dating. He doesn’t want to believe me. What do you think?
Hi Anna,

Great question. Unprovoked alarms mysteriously sounding are more common than most people think.

In your case, after energetically connecting to you in Warsaw, I then focused on your car. You were correct, your boyfriend’s mom was involved in the alarm caper.

Interestingly enough, it was her spirit I saw sitting in the car when I pictured it so I took the opportunity to have a little chat with her.

She told me she in fact sounded the alarm. She also told me there is a short in the car’s electrical system causing the alarm to malfunction.

Her message was twofold. First, she said it’s the holidays and the family needs to be together as much as possible. She wants you all to go out of your way to do things as a group, perhaps activities not normally done throughout the year. In other words, celebrate the season.

Next, she told me the family needs to support your boyfriend’s dad, even with the women he chooses to date. She said even though you may not approve of his girlfriends, they’re serving a purpose you may not be able to see from your vantage point. She went on to say your boyfriend’s dad has been very lonely and as a companion, his girlfriend makes him feel better. Having a woman in his life will help him live healthier and longer.

My advice is to focus on what you like about the woman dating your boyfriend’s dad. Everyone has at least some redeeming qualities, and when you look for the good, it’ll make you feel better about her and feel better in general.

Hope this information helps.

Circle of Willis

Donya from Port Orchard, WA, asked:

Hi Julie,

Could I have a medical scan please?

After you scanned me in February 2017 my headache went away the next month in March and has not returned.

In August 2018 I had an MRI done of my brain. The results were normal except there was fluid in my mastoid bone. Doctors still aren’t sure what the fluid is or where it came from. Also, I think I saw an unruptured aneurysm at my Circle of Willis.

What are your thoughts concerning these issues?

I appreciate what you do … thank you!

Donya

Hi Donya,

Fluid in the mastoid bone (the bone directly behind the ear) is known as Mastoiditis.

Mastoiditis occurs when too much fluid is found in mastoid air cells, which are honeycomb-like structures filled with air that drain into the middle ear. When the middle ear becomes infected, the inflammation may pass into the mastoid cells, causing fluid buildup in the mastoid bone.

Symptoms can include pain behind the ear, swelling or redness behind the ear with a small protrusion, fever, drainage from the ear. The usual treatment for Mastoiditis is a round of antibiotics.

From what I saw while scanning you, it looks like the issue is with your right ear. I saw (in my mind’s eye) a small tear in your eardrum most likely caused by an ear infection. I watched an energetic healing occur that drained the fluid in your mastoid and repaired your eardrum.

Now, with regard to your comment about an unruptured aneurysm in the Circle of Willis in your brain, an aneurysm is a balloon-like bulge of an artery wall and the Circle of Willis is a ring or circle of arteries located at the base of the brain.

The circle is important because it provides a form of backup in case any of the involved arteries is obstructed. If one artery is constricted or blocked, the flow of blood from the other arteries in the circle will most often be enough to preserve the necessary flow to the brain and prevent damage.

While scanning you, although I didn’t see (again in my mind’s eye), an aneurysm, I did see a section on the lower right side of the Circle of Willis where the arterial wall looked thin.

In order to prevent a possible aneurysm, I watched an energetic healing performed on you that inserted a polyester graft (tube that opens and strengthens an artery) into the thin section of the arterial wall.

Having said all that, be smart and continue to consult with your doctors and get scans when necessary. I believe you’ll be just fine.

Cause of Sister’s Death

Patricia from Ballwin, MO, asked:

Hi Julie,

How and why did my sister Kathy suddenly cross over on December 1, 2017?

Kathy donated her body to science, so no autopsy was wanted by the family or performed.

She was alone using a public restroom when she died and for my own personal closure, I’d like to know what happened.

Thank you for any help you give me.

Hi Patricia,

My condolences to you and your family on the passing of your sister Kathy. I understand the disbelief and grief you all must be feeling because I too lost my sister Joan who died very suddenly and unexpectedly in 2010. Needless to say, going through something like that is heartbreaking.

To get some information for you I first energetically connected to you and from you to your deceased sister Kathy. Her spirit was standing next to you at your right shoulder.

She told me she died of a massive stroke. She said it felt like an explosion went off in her head and she died almost instantly. Kathy told me she didn’t suffer and chose this way to go back to non-physical because it was quick and easy. I believe the cause of her stroke was a congenital issue with the vascular system in her brain.

Your sister wanted you to know she is always around you and your family and asked me to teach you how to communicate with her. Here’s how … ask her a question or make a statement either in your head or aloud. Kathy will answer you telepathically with what seems like a thought in your mind. If it comes within a second, that will be Kathy’s response. If you think about the answer for more than a couple seconds, that will be your brain answering you. Be concise when asking questions. Spirits are very literal.

Lastly, Kathy said to think of her when you eat taffy. I questioned her a couple times about that comment, even asking her if she meant toffee. She specifically said taffy. Please let me know if that means anything to you.

Hope this information helps comfort you.

Postnatal Mystery

Cat from Ibiza, Spain, asked:

Hi Julie,

Tuned in to Dr. Northrup’s show on Hay House radio for the first time today and was fascinated by your interview.

Can you please psychically tune in to both me and our house here in Ibiza?

I had a wonderful pregnancy and although a planned home water birth ended up being a day at the hospital with an emergency C-section, my physical/emotional response to this disappointment has lasted two years.

I don’t believe this to be simply postnatal depression or fallout from the postpartum Thyroiditis or adrenal fatigue I experienced. There’s more to it. But even as a Reiki master, I can’t get to the bottom of it … nor has anyone else been able to.

I’d be deeply appreciative of your assistance.

Cat

Hi Cat,

Thanks for your question and for your kind words about my interview with Dr. Northrup.

In order to get some information for you, I did a medical scan and energetically connected to you in Spain. Once I got a picture of you (in my mind’s eye), I was able to see (again in my mind’s eye), that you were very low in estrogen. You looked like a woman in menopause. To help you feel better, I added energetic estrogen to your body and you immediately responded and looked healthy.

Since having a baby and being in menopause at the same time didn’t make sense to me, I decided to call Christine Paoletti, MD, MS, FACOG, my personal OB/GYN (who now specializes in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy-BHRT), for her thoughts about what I was seeing with regard to your situation.

Dr. Paoletti, who has been an OB/GYN for many decades said, “During breast feeding, women’s hormones are negligible”. She went on to say, “The new mother’s body produces prolactin (a hormone enabling females to produce breast milk) which causes a major decrease in estrogen and that adrenal fatigue makes all hormone levels decrease”.

In addition, Dr. Paoletti said she has seen with her patients that, “Having a baby later in life (late 30’s, early 40’s and older), can contribute to an earlier onset of menopause”.

Based on what I saw when scanning you combined with this information from Dr. Paoletti, I believe you’re in need of hormones. It seems as if you’re being affected by post-natal and menopausal conditions.

Having said all that, my recommendation is to eat a whole foods diet (if God made it … eat it, if man made it … avoid it), get as much sleep as possible, and find a physician to help you with BHRT.

I know all of this sounds easier said than done, however, right now, your priority needs to be you (and your baby), so you can feel well again.

Hope this information helps.

Learning Woo-Woo

Tanya from Kennesaw, GA, asked:

Dear Julie,

I listen to your show every week. Thank you for all your work in helping people!

My dream is to have a chance to learn from you. Do you take students or offer workshops?

I’ve been reading various books, including Carolyn Myss and Barbara Ann Brennan, but I would really like to have a teacher.

Your advice is appreciated.

Thank you!

Tanya

Hi Tanya,

Thanks for listening to the show and for your kind words.

At this time I don’t offer workshops or have a school but I may in the future.

In the meantime, I do have a couple of suggestions:

1) Consider scheduling a private session with me and we can go over the basics.

2) Check out The School of Healing Arts. It’s where I studied and I know they’re offering classes.

Most importantly, continue to explore the psychic, medical intuitive, energy healer, etc., industry.

We’re all born with the capacity to do this work, it’s just a matter of learning the skill.

I learned how to do “Woo Woo” and you can too!

My Dad’s Transition

Susan from St. George, UT, asked:

Hi Julie,

I recently had a private reading with you – thank you. It was powerful and I am still processing the information.

I listen to your weekly show and didn’t have a question until after we hung up! Isn’t that the way it goes sometimes?

My dad’s name is Charles. He is 89 years old and has a weakened heart from heart disease and vascular dementia.

He tells me he continues to feel weaker despite good nutrition and using his stationary bike daily. We go to church every Sunday together which is when he confides in me. He is increasingly disturbed by the advancement of his dementia and the weakness in his legs. He tells me he is ready to go.

Would you please take a look at him and see if he is in Transition and if so at what stage? He has always been one to see through the veil and see folks around him. Lately it is happening more often. Recently a deceased family member was present in the room.

Thank you for the blessing that you are to all of us!

Susan

Hi Susan,

Thanks for your question and kind words. It sounds like you’re the blessing … to your dad and others.

In order to get some information for you, I first energetically connected to you and from you to your dad Charles.

He is in Phase 9 of the Twelve Phases of Transition. That means his spirit is out of his body and attached to the top of his head. It looks like a bubble, the kind you see in a cartoon caption (where the character’s words or thoughts are shown).

Your dad’s parents’ spirits are at his feet and anchor a row of angels that extends out in both directions. In addition, there are many spirits (deceased loved ones and friends) in his room. They are joined by the spirits of several pets your dad has had throughout his lifetime. All of these angels and spirits comprise what I call the “Welcome To Heaven” committee. They will continue to grow in numbers as your dad gets closer to dying.

When I asked your dad if he was ready to go, he replied, “Yes”. When I asked him if he was in pain, he said, “No”. And lastly, when I asked him what he needed, he said, “My toothbrush and toothpicks”! That response made me laugh because it was simple and direct, and because it was one I hadn’t ever heard before.

For more information about what you can expect as you go through the dying process with your dad and eventually other loved ones, please read my book Angelic Attendants: What Really Happens As We Transition From This Life Into The Next. I believe you’ll find it informative, comforting, and heartwarming too.

Please remember one thing as you spend this time with your dad. Look for the little miracles along the way. They’ll be plentiful and will help sustain you as you support your dad and other family members.
