Excess Weight

Tracie from Blue Springs, MO, asked:

Hi Julie

I’m 46 and have been on hypothyroid medication for 2 years.

Although I’m not a lethargic person anymore, I haven’t lost any weight. In fact I’m gaining.

This seems to have started after childbirth 11 years ago. I do not take hormones, don’t smoke or do drugs and occasionally have a social drink at a get-together.

For the most part I eat healthy but could do better. I don’t regularly work out, but I’m very active.

Any insights you can share about my condition will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Tracie,

When I connected to you I could see you have heavy metal toxicity.

Metals like aluminum, mercury, copper, and cadmium, to name a few, get into our bodies through metal fillings in our teeth, through herbicides and pesticides sprayed on our food supply and from fish and non-purified fish oil supplements.

Our bodies store these metals in our fat in order to protect our vital organs from being contaminated. In this case, fat is beneficial because it helps us survive. Our bodies won’t release the extra weight (fat) as long as metal toxicity is an issue.

Here are some recommendations:

1) Eat as much organic food as possible, in particular, cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage along with cilantro, and wild blueberries. You can find organic wild blueberries in the freezer section of your grocery store or at Costco or Sam’s. Go to bulletproofexec.com/diet and download the free food chart. Eat what’s on it.

2) Consider soaking in a bathtub of warm water mixed with Bentonite Clay. Bentonite Clay is aged volcanic ash that when hydrated produces an electric charge that draws heavy metals and other impurities out of the body. You’ll find Bentonite Clay in stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts and online at Amazon. It’s inexpensive.

3) If possible, spend some time in an infrared sauna. Infrared saunas have been shown to be particularly effective in removing heavy metals from stored fat.

Once I energetically removed the heavy metal toxins from your body, you looked vibrant and healthy.

Hope this information helps.
